I agree with Richard McDevitt. The idea of watering a lawn with well water in a major drought drives me crazy. So, when my well dries up due to the drought and people watering the lawns. I should drive past their home and see if I feel better that their lawns are green. Who cares? All that is required is a little concern for other people. My lawn is brown and I have plants that have just been planted dying. I haven't water the lawn or plants with well water. However, I do agree that the construction should stop. If a choice had to be made between a green lawn or someone having a home. I would have to choose a home. The option is to replant after the drought. Or maybe a little less planting might be in order.
