Typo. On the other hand how does that statement imply perpetual virginity in any way?

Hold up sally. You know Psalm 69 clears this all up.

<quoted text>Your false use of that verse goes right along with the "perpetual virgin" teaching. I don't know why you try to pull such nonsense. It is true I ignore a lot of claims but only because I don't think they are worth the time correcting.Let's use the complete verse.
2 Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
Mary being a "perpetual virgin" is not a prophecy of scripture. It is a false teaching of the Catholic church. At the very least, you admit below that relations with Joseph is not excluded.
<quoted text>Duh, quite a step back from insisting Mary is a "perpetual virgin" isn't it? No one claims Joseph was the father of Jesus or that she was not a virgin until she birthed Jesus. When God wants us to know something that miraculous it is given to us in scripture. If Mary was to remain a perpetual virgin and be worshipped by the church and considered co savior with Jesus, God would have given us that in the scriptures. What God gave us was preeminence through Christ for forgiveness of sins and salvation. Still you never answered the question of why the wording of that verse some fifty years later would not imply it likely that Mary and Joseph had relations after the birth of Jesus. On the other hand how statement imply perpetual virginity in any way?
50 years later all Christians believed in the perpetual virginity of Blessed Mary.

It took about 1800 years to get the interpretation right according to you.

Name one person between AD 100 and AD 1700 that beleived what you believe today.

You have been lied to by your parents, pastors , friends about the history of Christianity.

One day you will have decide between the Truth and your Mommy and Daddy.

Not saying it won't be hard, but remember your grandchildren will not believe what you are teaching right now.

Why. No authority.

Mikey, one last thing before I get some rest. You or the other CAT said I was hiding behind the scenes because I am not using my name. I think you called me low end. Sir, if I were to place my name on here almost everyone would recognize it. Your name though is common and low end and not included in my searches for Catholics. Do tell where you attend Mass and Mary worship because I have looked high and low and you are a ghost in the Catholic Church.

At least you admit you are ashamed of matching your name with your beliefs.

You are a low end Prot. I used to use low Church Prot, but Mark correctly brought this wrong word usage to my attention.

A low end Prot are those who made up their belief system since 1800 and worship in barns compared to the high end Prots who started in the 16th Century.

Why would you find a simple Christian like me defending my faith anyway on a web search anyway? I know of no crimes I have committed or reason it should be on there. My small country Church has about 100 or so regular membership and are elderly so they don't have a website.

Jesus knows me so I am not a complete Ghost. He saved me when I was baptized and I eat his body and drink his blood pretty regular.

I ask Blessed Mary to intercede for me everyday so he knows me from her too.

Well this pray is never heard. Again, pray to only him or the father. I gave you the answer where to look. The liar did a good job in Fatima with the dancing sun on a raining morning on Oct 13, 1917. I still don't understand when Mary said that she can no longer stop God from punishing the world for it's sin. All these last 2000 year, she was more powerful then God. PS, isn't Oct 13th the date King Phil of France and the Pope gave each other the OK to Destroy the Knight Templars??????? You just found out why Friday the 13th is considered unlucky, but in the OT, 13 is a good number. Just a little history.

It's your call, If you want to deny the bible and listen to the pope in Rome, you have got that right. But the writing words don't change. Revelations says that the book is close. Rev 22 v 18. You have decided to believe Rome and not the word. You have never really listen to what Jesus said or the Prophets of the OT. It is people like you who say, science and Religion cannot mixed cause it teaches difference things. I say listen to what Jesus said and then you'll see whaT E=MC2 really is. "With God, all things are possible", what the hell do you think E+MC2 is saying. One day has Jesus said, the "truth" will set you free. Question is, what is "truth" ?

There are 1.25 Billion Catholics alive today.

If I remember right, I am number 110,854,445,696. Search for that Christian in the Vatican Archive. That's me.

By your own words you don't even qualify as a CINO! But then you are only one confession away from full communion once again even if it's on your death bed. You also have a hard time telling the difference between a joke and serious stuff.

Are you married. If you are, you need this "paper" to get married. Each step that you take is "stamp" to record your life within the CC. I don't fear God's or the prophets and more important Jesus. I live the best I can being human caught in a system that we created thru the liar. God's will still is not being done even after Jesus came and went. Jesus did tell us the Good News of the future of mankind living in peace and love within the universe, better known has the kingdom of God. When you died you do not go to heaven or hell. If this was so, why did jesus raised Larazus and himself Restaurected, if your just rewards are somewhere else. When you go to mass on sunday, this time listen to the priest this time. You would be shock at what he says. Also, funerals custom within Cathoilic says 3 days of morning and then burial why. Do you know why this is. You'll deny it anyway. 3 days later Jesus rose from the dead. Old belief that we did have, to wait 3 days to see if the dead person rose. CC change this even thought it is still practice here and there. Reason, Back then it was believed that Jesus return was any moment. Jesus rose larazus to show who he really is and the future of mankind is the "GOOD NEWS" is not rotten in the ground 6 feet under. No death, no pain, no suffering, just enjoying. If you idea of enjoying is having "wings and playing the harp on a cloud for eternity is enjoying, go for it. You are not seeing what the BOOK really is saying.

<quoted text>That is interesting. I have read before that the Jews believed you could be raised in three days and may have been the reason Lazarus was in the grave 4 days. So the miracle of Jesus being after four days would not be questioned. That was speculation on their part but reasonable. Do you know if they believed the person would raise without someone praying over them or if it was necessary for some one else such as Jesus to pray for them? I have to go but will check back for your response. I am a low end prot that has to work, lol.
First you have to be taught.

My work at night relates to my status in the Lord's work. I'm not legend like your harlot pope. I am a middle aged man known by many. I also majored in psychology and see through you. You are rejected by your own family. You are a loner. You have problems getting close to people and struggle with relationships. You channel your loneness through this forum and your kiittys.
