Don't really care what point you were making if it is about the Church.

The Pope is also going to sweeten the deal for your stay in Purgatory. Seems to discriminate against those that do not have Internet access and cannot follow twitter.

This not having to believe and getting out of Purgatory by watching twitter should make the church more popular and increase membership.

What a great resource you have. You know there is law that says everything on the internet has to be true.

Tell me who taught you what you believe.

All Christians and most Protestants honor and adore the Mother of Jesus, Blessed Mary.

They believe in the perpetual virginity of her.

What do low end Prots, since the 1800, have to gain by treating the 1st Christian to have ever lived, the Mother of Jesus, as just a normal woman who lived at the time of Jesus. Just an incubator for God.

How does that help you get to heaven? The only reason you do, is to distance yourself from the Church.

How can you reconcile that out of the multiple Billions of people who have been followers of Jesus since AD 32 , only since 1800 a few non catholics believe what you believe.

How can you reconcile that you have the Truth and the vast Billions of others are all wrong.

I know. Ignorance. You were born into it. No other reason.

Your ignorance of the what the Church teaches is showing. There has never been and never will be a teaching of the Church that everything the pope says is true.

Learn something before you make more of a fool of yourself in the future.

For sure very little of what you say is true, but you accept yourself as always true.

The Catholics have to defend their false doctrine of Mary being a perpetual virgin. Where does it come from? Not the bible. The fact that cousins of Joseph is a possibility is not conclusive at all as it could also mean a child of Joseph as well. An interest couple of verses are these.

Matthew 1:24 When Joseph awoke from sleep he did what the angel of the Lord told him. He took his wife,
Matthew 1:25 but did not have marital relations with her until she gave birth to a son, whom he named Jesus.

This being written several at least 50 plus years after the birth of Jesus it would be a well known fact Mary was a perpetual virgin if it were factual. Would it make any sense at all to make a statement such as verse 25? These verses seem to imply Joseph knew Mary after the birth of Jesus or else why make the statement at all some fifty years later. Also could Mary even be the wife of Joseph if the marriage was never consummated.

That's why the Bible says it is not for private interpretation and why the Ethiopian says how can I learn scripture unless somebody teaches me. That doesn't mean your mommy and daddy. The Church

The word "until" seems to indicate that after the birth of Jesus there were normal marital relations. However, the Greek word heos (ἕω&#96 2;) which is translated as until, does not imply that anything happened after Jesus' birth, nor does it exclude it. The point of the verse is that Joseph was not responsible for the conception of Jesus.

2 Samuel 6:23: And Michal the daughter of Saul had no child to (until) the day of her death.(Does this mean she had children after she died?)

1 Timothy 4:13: Until I come, attend to the public reading of scripture, to preaching, to teaching.(Does this mean Timothy should stop teaching after Paul comes?)

1 Corinthians 15:25: For he (Christ) must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.(Does this mean Christís reign will end? By no means! Luke 1:33 says, "he will reign over the house of Jacob forever and of his kingdom there shall be no end.")

Your false use of that verse goes right along with the "perpetual virgin" teaching. I don't know why you try to pull such nonsense. It is true I ignore a lot of claims but only because I don't think they are worth the time correcting.Let's use the complete verse.

2 Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

Mary being a "perpetual virgin" is not a prophecy of scripture. It is a false teaching of the Catholic church. At the very least, you admit below that relations with Joseph is not excluded.

Duh, quite a step back from insisting Mary is a "perpetual virgin" isn't it? No one claims Joseph was the father of Jesus or that she was not a virgin until she birthed Jesus. When God wants us to know something that miraculous it is given to us in scripture. If Mary was to remain a perpetual virgin and be worshipped by the church and considered co savior with Jesus, God would have given us that in the scriptures. What God gave us was preeminence through Christ for forgiveness of sins and salvation. Still you never answered the question of why the wording of that verse some fifty years later would not imply it likely that Mary and Joseph had relations after the birth of Jesus. On the other hand how statement imply perpetual virginity in any way?
