What type of psychos post like this to someone whom they do not even know? I am getting out of here as quickly as possible. Barnsweb is the only sensible one on here, the rest may very well be using this forum as therapy for their mental problems. I suspect the majority are committed. I wish them well, hope they recovery from that terrible illness but am not interested in being part of their therapy. It is to hard for a untrained professional to explain reality to them.

All non Catholic ecclesial communities are heretical. The Church acknowledges, to some of the more conservatives chagrin, that you cannot help what community you were born into.

Are you ashamed of your birth situation? Don't be. It is never too late to come home to Rome.( as long as you are alive)

Change your family tree. What an awesome gift.

FollowPaulorJesus is right.

Evidently.

You're welcome to talk to yourself all you want - you'll have an eternity in darkness to recall our conversations, unless you repent to believe what Yeshua said the gospel of the kingdom of God is. You can turn and repent to do the will of God, or you can go on and pretend Master Yeshua said that the greatest numbers of the oldest Church of record that has sown every vile fruit of the Accuser will somehow be saved as the "Say this prayer after me" groups.

I'd say 'good luck', but it has nothing to do with luck, but rather those who repent to keep the commandments of God and the faith and testimony of Master Yeshua.
<quoted text>The new commission is expected to tell church officials to collaborate with civil authorities and report cases of abuse,
The quote above leads me to conclude that church officials did NOT collaborate with civil authorities and report cases of abuse in the past. Now after decades of scandal they come up with this. Maybe in a century or two they will admit there was a problem.

AENT, Revelation 10-21;

And he said to me: "do ot seal t words of the prophecy of this book; for the time is near. He that does evil, let him do evil still; and he that is filthy, let him be filthy still; and he that is righteous, let him practice righteousness still; and he that is sanctified, let him be sanctified still. Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me to recompense everyone according to his work. I am Alap and Taw, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the Completion. Blessed are they who do His (Master YHWH's) Mitzvot, that they may have a right to the tree of life and may enter through the gates into the city. Without (will be) dogs and sorcerers, and whoremongers and manslayers and idolaters, and everyone that loves and does falsehood. I Y'shua have sent my Messenger to testify to you these things before the assemblies. I am the root and offspring of Dawid: like the splendid star of the morning. And the Spirit and the bride say, "You come.' And let him that hears, say,'You come.' And let him who thirsts, come; and he that is inclined, let him take the living water freely.' I testify to every one who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, that if anyone will add to them, Elohim will add to him the plagues that are written in this book. And if anyone will take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, Elohim will take away his portion from the tree of life and from the Set Apart city, which are described in this book. He who testifies these things, says: "Yes, I come quickly." Amen. Come, Master Y'shua! The grace of our Master Y'shua the Mashiyach (be) with all the Set Apart believers. Amen.

Even Revelation testifies to the blessings found in keeping the commandments of God and the testimony (word) of Master Y'shua, who said His teachings are not His own, but those that the Father gave Him to tell us.

The bride made herself ready - to rid herself of spots and blemishes and be found in righteousness according to God - His truth, not the words of men who pervert the commandments of God or set them aside.

Glad you are coming around. St Peter and all of his successors hold the keys to the kingdom. That song agrees with that.

I grew up on sugar plantation and my Mom worked at the company store. She rarely got a paycheck because what she bought at the store came out of her check.

Every joke about you hear about heaven, who is at the gate letting people in or not?

18
k And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church,* and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it.
19
l I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven.* Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Deut. 32:4, "The Rock! His work is perfect, for all His ways are just; a God of faithfulness and without injustice."
2 Sam. 22:2-3, "The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; 3 My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge."
Psalm 18:31, "And who is a rock, except our God."
Isaiah 44:8, "Is there any God besides Me, or is there any other Rock? I know of none."
Rom. 9:33, "Behold, I lay in Zion a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense, and he who believes in Him will not be disappointed."

It should be obvious from the Word of God that the rock Jesus was referring to was not Peter--but himself.

Saint Peter, don't call me cause I can't go, I owe my soul to the company store...

Jesus is the rock on which the church is built

The truth is that the only foundation is Jesus. The only rock of truth is Jesus Christ; and that we, as his redeemed, need to keep our eyes on him. We are to look to no one else as the foundation, the source, or the hope on which the church is built. The Church is built upon Jesus--not Peter.

"For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ." (1 Cor. 3:11).

You are getting me confused. So you are saying Jesus changed his own name to Rock and built his church on himself.

What you have done is say that Jesus has compared Simon to all of those verses that you just quoted. Simon, your new name is Rock , first person in history to be called Rock, and I build my church on you.

The Jews will know what rock means. Jesus was pretty smart wasn't

That is the problem the catholics have already established a confusing system, one that you cannot yet see.

John 9:25
He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.

Until you submit to the authority Jesus gave his Church you will always be blind.

You confuse political freedom with the Kingdom of God

The kingdom is a big melting pot of beliefs according to you.

Just like America. Believe what you want.

All men are sinners including your church leaders. No one has all truth and no one can completely understand everything. We all still live in a fallen world and walk around in flesh and blood bodies tainted with sin because of the fall.

Love
11When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things. 12For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known. 13But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Mike church leaders are men just like you and me. They are not little gods, they are fallible humans beings.

Truth is available to us through the scripture. What many of us are missing is guidance from the Holy Spirit-Christ in us our hope of glory. Even then we are not little gods. We can and do grow in our spiritual walk with God-not the pope in us our hope of glory. Jesus is a personal God, we do not have to have any other intercessor.

15For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. 16Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Do you speak for God or not? Easy question. You do or you don't.

There is only only one Truth. Is it yours ?

I try to speak where God speaks and you should also. We are both human and not gods. So is every person on the face of the planet. God has done a marvelous job speaking for himself.

20But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one's own interpretation, 21for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.

I thank God that he used men to write his word and fot the catholics who canonized the scripture.

2 Timothy 3:16
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,

Christ in us our hope of glory
