My Pastor makes 750 a month and has 2 parishes.
The Pope draws no salary.
The total budget of the Vatican is around 250 million a year. last year, they were in the red. That is peanuts.
The $750/month is typical. Diocesan priests do not take a vow of poverty but most remain well below the poverty line, working for pennies per hour, unlike their far less educated prot counterparts. Priests who belong to religious orders like the Dominicans, Franciscans, etc do take vows of poverty.

I do know of one semi wealthy retired priest. His parenta died and left him their estate in Ireland. His main gain was membership in a world wide famous golf cours

He lets parishes raffle off free weeks use of the house in Scotland for fund raisers.

Your spin is not a picture of truth concerning your church. Truth, what may be a valid reason for the church being in the red is the billions of dollars the church paid out to victims and to keep quite the actions of the church priests and leadership. Now lets touch on Catholic priest vows. Truth, they took a vow of celibacy but it apparently is fairly common in the church to break vows. Were the priests and leaders removed by the church? No, so are vows now irrelevant in the Catholic church? Pope has no salary. I feel so bad. Chefs, private security detail, people waiting on him hand and foot. This pope appears to want to see how the other half lives and is driving a used car. The rich and powerful do these things for kicks. As far as less educated goes, no church has any two less educate representative tan you two. Both of you have shown no knowledge of what your church believes at all.

He has to have private security whether he wants it are not. That is an ignorant statement. He really doesn't want it. He would probably be dead within months without it.

Even these Mega-Church pastors have those.

The Pope has been living this way since he took a vow of poverty.

I believe those who took the vow of poverty own the clothes on their back and any books they might have collected and of course their Chalices etc.

Personally I think he goes a little heavy on the gold but at least he has not had to hock his ring yet. Only one way to settle this and determine if the Pope is living a up to his vow of poverty. Does he qualify for a free Obama phone?

You are so damn stupid.

Go ahead and find a Pope in full vestments. All it will do is display the extraordinary skill of craftsmen and women through the centuries who have created these beautiful works of art.

Do the Sprouls shop for suits and shoes at Goodwill?

Unlike in the Sproul denomination, Popes almost always wear hand me downs, some centuries old. Monsignor Guido Marini, often seen assisting B16 and F1, is responsible for bringing so many of the beautiful vestments from the past out of storage. Marini is the Master of Pontifical Liturgical Celebrations and superb at his job.
