Oh the rotten fruit of Sola Scriptura.
On one hand we have the low end Paulinist Prots who think without Paul, Jesus' ministry would have a been a failure, and on the other side of the continuum of SS we have the wanna be Messianic Jews claiming God should have let the lightning kill Saul.
This is from reading the same book. Belief in SS is bizarre.
The Gospel Paul preached was to the gentiles according to scripture.

Officially, Catholics say that Peter was the first Pope. But the problem is that the next didn't come until 300 odd years later

This is one of the few "pagan rituals" that the Catholic do. Mary was Blessed, that I have no doubts. But Catholic have a very bad habit of placing Mary on the same level has Jesus and the Father. This is wrong. We pray to her, which is wrong. Mary said that at the Fatima miracle to say the Rosarys. Sorry, this is an Old pagan belief that came from Budda. The Fatima and all the vision that are being reported, are real, it just not who we think it is.

Is the New Testament in the New Testament?

Another thing I noticed that the Primitive Baptists have in common with the CofC...no educated preachers or elders. Just amazing at the similarities. The PBs seem to be divided into several little subgroups like the CofC as well. There don't appear to be any PB churches around here but maybe they don't allow phones in church just like they don't allow musical instruments.

Has a matter of fact, we know that some were very educated of the times. Mathew was a tax collector, It is believe that Luke was a lawyer or accountant base on his writings, especially the first 4-5 paragraph he wrote .

Why are you now denigrating the Apostles? All Jewish males were educated and even taught a trade. Are you saying those fishermen were so dumb that fishing is all they could do or did their fathers actually teach them the skill and also see that they were taught in the synagogues and at home?

And the CofC has the corner on brainwashing. It has managed to convince its members that it is the church found in the New Testament.
