“Mike Peterson” has boasted about an upcoming book. I will keep an eye out in the upcoming months, years, for all books put outlook by Catholics. Once I see a book with any references to the threads on topix, I will expose “Mike” for who he is. Some older threads on topix have “Mike Peterson” using language very unchristian like. In fact, he has used profanity quite a few times. I have more which I will save for when I need it.‘Mike Peterson” do tell the name of your book … please.

No name yet. The Publisher usually comes up with that.
I will be sure to mention the Topix Martinsville, Va posters as partial contributors. There are thousands of forums and blogs to pick from. The amateur hour places are the best.
Great stuff.,
To think Jesus would be stupid enough to leave us a book as the sole means of the way to eternal life was by teaching yourself, when pen and paper, literacy, and the printing press was centuries away.
Billions must have gone to hell because they couldn't read and pen and paper was yet to be invented.
What a cruel God we would have if that was true.

Their is no book. There is only "data" right now. This is a retirement project. I work more than full time.

But you guys in Topix have been a treasure trove.

Bobby was my best but since he left William was good.

He thinks he is Gentile. That was a new one for me

Mike, are you heading to NYC/DC/Philly to see your company CEO on his visit to the United States later this month?

I see where a lot of the Good Catholics up there are scalping the free tickets to excited throngs of other Good Catholics. Are you getting a cut of this action?

Glad you are following that closely. Name any protester in history who will get that attention.

He is the successor to St Peter after all

Do you think it's worth four tickets to an Eagles game?

I think the pope needs to immaculately conceive the Eagles a new offensive line. Ye gads. I don't even think Tony Romo getting hurt can save the Eagles this year.

Better send him 4 tickets to a Patriots game. Do you think the RCC has a prayer about deflated balls?

Chip Kelly is going to pull a Steve Spurrier soon. He will land back in college somewhere once this Eagles experiment ends.

He should've kept Tebow as the third stringer.

How about the new head ball coach at Texas? I don't know if Charlie Strong will make it out of Austin alive.

Better send the Pope down to the "U". Miami lost to Cincinnati tonight and it wasn't the Bengals. Al Golden needs to say a few hail Mary's to save his hide.

Speaking of his popeness, he visited with the county clerk where I live. Now the gays hate him again. They were thinking he was on their side. If we aren't careful the Pope will replace John Boehner.

He is not a Republican or Democrat but a Christian. The Vicar of Christ. How she met him is how he met the hundreds he did. He did not know in advance who he was meeting. Key people each had a list of people to meet the Pope. I am not sure who's list she was on.

Each time a group of people was due to meet the him, they were gathered together in a room, given security clearance and waited until he was available. They could ask questions on what to expect and how to act and then led out in a line to meet him.

The person who put her name on his/her list introduced him to the Pope, with his interpreter and they each speak a few words together. The meetings usually last 15 -20 seconds and then each one is given a Rosary blessed by the Pope.

Just a little trivia. It was a big deal to whomever invited her, not the Pope. But of course he believes in religious freedom.

A marriage by a state official or protester is not recognized by the Church anyway.

Boehner should have asked to meet him. And asked that his popeness would grant him a backbone to stand up and be a real warrior.

Boner did about the best he could do, given the state of the current Republican party. I wish he had retired at the end of his term rather than pulling a Sarah Palin and quitting midterm, thus causing a special election to be held.

But now he has more time for golf, like every other Good Catholic that I know.
