Please remember my friends in Palestine in prayer that they may find safety

This weekend friends of mine who are ĎMusliní and reside in Palestine have witnessed tragedy beyond words. Bodies lay in the streets. Kids have been shot even killed. It is much worse than the media is saying. People have the notion that Israel be Gods people thus excuse any actions made by them upon those in Palestine.

Many in the States do not know that Israel cuts off electrical power and water many times each week in Palestine. This is something that has been going on for many years as every other nation including America sit idle by and pretend it be not an issue.

Israel mocks and uses America and other Christian nations. They even have places for tourist to see Jesusí hand prints and foot prints knowing that these are fake and not made from the real Christ yet people from around the world flock there as if God still has Israel as his people. I am not anti-Israel but I am not anti-Palestine either. There are good and bad from both sides as there are good and bad the world over.

Pray that the Bahhur family find safety and not be victims of the war at hand. Just this Saturday they were met with a road block not too far from their home and were told to turn around and return to their home. As they drove they seen bodies of those slain and some living with blood covered clothes even small children. Much is not said to the world but my friends words was,ďit is a massacreĒ. I plead of you of this discussion board pray for a cease-fire before this continues to cut many lives short of both sides. Hundreds and hundreds of Palestinians lay dead at the hands of Israel. Israel has lost some as well so please pray that God protect the children. The kids there are running streets some lost their parents. Its very bad and my heart breaks for them as they endure such hardship.

The nation and government of Israel treats its Palestinian neighbors like cattle. They run the Palestinian people off their land and take their homes so that Israelis may move into them. The Gaza strip is another set of horror stories. Israel's current treatment of the Palestinian people today is very closely reminiscent to Nazi Germany's treatment of Jews in the 40's. Israel has not learned how to "love thy neighbor as thyself," to quote the wonderful words of our Lord. How can a Christian believe that God has still claimed the Nation of Israel as His "chosen people"? It makes no Biblical sense. Maybe and notice I said ďmaybeĒ in the future God will do a work with Israel but the Israel of today is not for Jesus at all. They still see Jesus as a mere man and do not embrace Christianity whatsoever. Maybe I am being a bit bias because I have friends there in Palestine or maybe I know more about the untold truth that occurs each day by the hands of those of Israel. My prayer is that the Palestinians and Israelis find peace with one another and turn to Jesus Christ. The slaughter of innocents children and civilians must stop.

The United States has armed Israel to the teeth and supported it's economy ever since it's 1948 inception. The Jewish lobby in DC is extremely well-funded and politically powerful.

War is an awful, awful thing.

Yes the States have armed Israel to the teeth which in and of itself isnít necessarily a bad thing but it makes it easy for them to play dictator over others nearby.

Iím not casting a halo over the heads of those in Palestine, donít get me wrong; but, I will not fall prey to the deception of Israel either. They know the States and those the world over see them as Gods chosen people thus they cater to this by making Christians feel welcomed as tourist. They have no heart for Jesus but they know if they create castings of supposed hand and foot prints of Jesus that tourist will flock there which in turn fattens their pockets.

Brewster County is a county located in western part of the U.S. state of Texas. As of the 2010 census, the population was 9,232. It is 3 times the size of Delaware-probably smaller than Israel Why is that not many people want to live there? It is a dry harsh land!

All around Israel there are many square miles of uninhabited land, but this one tiny piece of ground has become a battleground. The old Jewish temple (what is left of it) is in israel which is also important to christians and muslims.

I don't think we can say that the arabs are a peaceful people. Israel has never announced that they want to rule the world-convert or die.

Muslims claim that Ishmael, the son of Abraham is the father of the Arabs therefore proving that Ishmael is the forefather of their prophet, Mohammad. Probably not true.

Israel has been a a very tiny part of the world population and have endured an ethnic cleansing by Hitler in the holocaust-six million slaughtered. For the most part they have been peaceful.

Therefore I side with Israel and their right to exist as a people. Arabs have said many time they will not be satisfied until ALL Israelis are destroyed. My position has nothing to do with them being the chosen people.

The Israel that is there now is not the Israel of God.

Far, far from it.

The Muslims will never accept peace. They continually start trouble with Israel. War is terrible yes, but it will go on until they are wiped out by Israel or the Lord returns in which I believe they will be wiped out. The Muslims feel their only purpose in life is to eliminate Israel. Welcome to the end times. I really don''t have sympathy for the Muslims because it is simple, stop attacking Israel and there will be peace between the two. It will probably never happen other than the sham of the antichrist spoken of in the bible. Spiritual ???? I believe that to be what is behind it and did I say" Welcome to the end times"?BTW my puzzle to post is "conversation starter",lol.

The Israel that exists today came into being in 1948 via UN charter. There was to be a Jewish sector and a Palestinian sector. It was going to work until fundamentalist Islamic clerics turned on the agreement. War came to Israel almost instantly because of it, and was has been a shadow there ever since.

Islam must, by its own law, retake land that it once possessed. That includes every square inch of that land. For that matter, parts of southern Spain are also under the same dictate.

I side with Israel or any people to exist as a people including Palestine. I do want to correct you on one thing that many be mistake about. Sure Muslims are known for forcing people to convert yet this is only the radial Muslims not at all the voice for all Muslims. I have dined meals with Muslims who are a peaceful people and not anything like those played on the airwaves of television. Yes they are not Christians but they do not at all force themselves on me either. Matter of fact many are just like us Bobby who would want a world of peace. I guess what sticks me is how Israel is given a halo as if she still is married to our Lord when she is not. She hates Jesus Christ as the messiah just as much as Muslims but the only difference is they see away to use Christianity to make them rich and make them powerful.

The rise of Christianity greatly increased hatred of Jews. They became seen not merely as outsiders but as a people who rejected Jesus and crucified him - despite the fact that the Roman authorities ordered and carried out the crucifixion. By the high middle ages (11th --14th centuries), Jews were widely persecuted as barely human "Christ-killers" and "Devils." Forced to live in all-Jewish ghettos, they were accused of poisoning rivers and wells during times of disease. Some were tortured and executed for supposedly abducting and killing Christian children to drink their blood or to use to it in baking matzoh - a charge known as the "blood libel." A large number were forced to convert to Christianity to avoid death, torture, or expulsion, though many secretly practiced Judaism after their conversions.(In recent times, the Catholic church and other Christian churches have rejected these anti-Semitic falsehoods.)

An awful lot of money changed hands during the negotiations to create Israel. Both for, and against.

The world is where it is today because of the fall in the garden.

Adam and Eve were not Jews.

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/...

The first promise is found in verse 14...

Also the great flood was a result of the fall.

God is in the business of restoration of the human race.

Don't forget that satan is still our enemy -all of us-every nation on the face of the earth.

My friend Iím not siding with Muslims but you are judging a small radical group as the whole. Sure they are not Christians but all of them are not blood thirsty people wanting the heads of every Christian either. Palestine must endure with Israel cutting off their power and water days each week for no reason at all. Iím not wishing to side with Palestine but I will not drink Israelís Kool-Aid either as many have. They are not followers of Jesus either yet embraced so much so that they are allowed to slaughter hundreds of Palestineís.

there exist on this discussion board people with personality disorders. Its come to my attention that Dave P and Jimmy cracking the corn are one and the same who also under a name using two more handles maybe 6 in all called the new guy and seeking wanderer which the administrating of topix should make it in light so all will know but this is allowed they tell me although its not of good taste. I feel I can no longer put out my time for the sake of puppet masters and can not understand the bloody point that one needs to use many handles even some speaking to one another so that they are not given away to other as frauds. It is also 2 more names tied with those on this list which for now I withhold until I can get the topix administrators aboard. underpants

In the years since 1948 why don't you list the infrastructure developments the Arabs/Palestinians have invested in, in Gaza and the WB?

The have spend billions upon billions not for the benefit of their own people but the destruction of another, Israel. There is no excuse for the theft of aid meant to help people improve their lives. Have their built power plants? Have they built desalinization plants? Prior to 67 there were no phones, no potable water and no power to the Gaza strip. Israel provided them all in spite of such hatred that murdered tens of thousands of Israelis.

Just look at the textbooks the Palestinians use to teach their children. It foments hatred and encourages children to become shaheeds with a reward of 72 Virgins.

The Palestinian society is a sick society which has all the hallmarks of a cult. Those that think it needs defending are just as perverted.

They had the land yanked out from under them. No wonder they are so angry.

Hopefully, the native American Indians don't acquire short-range rockets and try to emulate what is happening in Gaza.

But fear not. The Israel of God has better days ahead of it.

Romans 11:25-27

25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

Sadly, almost no one actually believes this though.
