At some point, Gays will have legal rights to marry- sad but true. When this occurs, those who preach against their lifestyle will risk be charged with a hate-crime.

How, as a Nation, did we get to this point?

I recall as a youth, the gay lifestyle was mostly still “in the closet” with very few exception. Nowadays, the gays are out of the closest and boldly/proudly making it known. Not only are they out of the closest but they have MANY friends backing them. When you see them protesting, many of those protesters are supporters- straight people in favor of gay rights/marriages.

Last night, on my Facebook, I noticed a banner being used by people on my friends list. I never seen it before but once I read a few comments I quickly perceived it as a banner in favor of gay marriages. To my amazement, not one person commented against the status/comments/banner- well until I logged on. I noticed after I commented against it, that everyone stopped commenting, and eventually the persons with the banner deleted it from their Facebook page.

This is part of the problem: Christians are sitting by keeping their mouths shut, ignoring the gay agenda, while it continues to move forward. The sad reality: it may be too late. Christians have sit by so LONG allowing this to grow to such extremes that it may be irreversible. I doubt anything can be done now to stop gay marriages. It will happen sooner or later and I lay the brunt of the blame on those who profess to be Christians.

Christians these days want to be like Joel Osteen- smile, be positive, say nothing against sin, we all are one happy family in God. This kind of “Church” has helped the gay agenda and embraced them as members of the “Church.” I have a cousin who attends such a “Church” and nothing I say or anyone else will convince her that she is wrong. After all, her “pastor” allows her and her “wife” to attend as members.

Thoughts? Input?

Just further proof that there are none righteous. No, not even one.

The current public discourse about gay rights and gay marriage, etc., serves to do nothing but put yet another obstacle in the way of people hearing, believing, and trusting the gospel of Jesus Christ for their salvation.

Who is the author of this confusion, I wonder.

An hour of testing is about to come upon the church in the United States. Gay marriage will be the law of the land by summer.

When it becomes the law of the land, I wonder if the TV evangelist will speak against it or take the Joel Osteen approach? Once it become law, you better believe the gays will exercise their “rights.” Speaking against them at all will earn one a hate-crime charge.

I predict Osteen will be just fine with it.

If it means gays sending Osteen money, you can bet that he will be just fine with it.

This age we are living in now is a "falling away" from the church. Not just gay marriage but it has been happening for some time. The church is growing by numbers in one sense, but they are not really in the church. The real church is shrinking I believe. I believe we are seeing exactly what the bible tells us happening right before our eyes.

Of all people, you should not be quoting Scripture.

I know already that you do not obey the commandments of Jesus Christ.

What would be my surprise?

Randy i wonder if by chance you saw headliners monday nite. Larry surber tried to say south park was gainst pediphiles, and they played the end of the nambla show. I played it again tonite and my point of bringing it us is this; the pedophiles made the exact argument that has gotten the homosexual into the positive. They said; America is suppose to be where you are free to be happy. We are just different and people are afraid because they do not understand us. also We were born this way we cannot help it, and then they allude to the preacher who said fence in the homosexuals, they said i guess you will put us away somewhere... at this point in the film all the opposition began looking compassionate, even the FBI with machine guns. It was unbelievable that they use the exact rhetoric. Glad you posted your above comments

1. This is only the beginning of our downfall as a country. We have a long fall down. Scary.
2. Our unfriendly neighborhood troll is back. Don't feed it-especially after midnight.
3. Louisville has the toughest region to get out of. If they make it out past Oregon, Michigan State and Duke they will win it I believe. Another topic for another thread though.

Heard Bill O'"Really" say on the radio today that the homosexuals have made the compelling case in this issue, and that all we the opposition have is "Bible thumping". The media is in the tank fellas. Are we willing to go to jail or worse for Jesus? We may find out soon.

Johnny is right. Pedophilia, beastiality and other nonsense will be next in this country. Even Muslims don't allow such perversion.
