Every believer in Jesus wants to belong to Bible based community. If you look on their websites if they have one, or their members and pastor if the don't , they all will tell you , their community is based on Bible.

My question is that when you go church shopping how do you know. If you go to one and it is not, do you go on tv or the radio, and let everybody know that community is not bible based and it is likely they will go to hell and avoid it at the risk for your eternal life depends on it?

Bobby said he went church shopping and found a number what wasn't. Does he have the damnation of the souls of those people present and future on his hands?

Bobby. I know you will list Catholic even though you have not learned what the Church teaches, what other ones did you visit were not Bible based?

Please list them for us.

Is Mary co-mediator between man and God also? This is a good example of some of the Roman Catholic teachings that are contrary to bible teachings and therefore they are not bible based. They actually gave up on making the claim of being bible based and elevated the traditions of man to equality with the word of God.
1Ti_2:5 For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus
Joh 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.
Jesus never left the church and the Roman Catholic Church never created the bible. Jesus is making intercession for each one of us now. The Catholics have created a imitation Jesus (the Pope), a imitation of Gods word(the catechism) and a imitation mediator between God and man(Mary).

There are no perfect churches out there that actually achieve what the bible says completely because they are made up of people who no matter how hard they try will never be perfect. The answer is a perfect mediator between humans and God. That mediator is Jesus, a truly infallible head of the church. That is one difference between Mike and the Catholic teaching. They claim others are infallible and are mediators between God and man. They claim they can forgive sin and created the bible. The word of God came from God not the Catholics and they cannot forgive your sins anymore than they can get you out of purgatory if you slip they a twenty.

Everything Jesus creates is perfect. Men are not. He created a perfect Church with the fullness of the Truth.

Find that one.

I found something in 2nd Peter 3 that surprised me, but there it was in verse 17-19 where he said I am warning you ahead of time, dear friends. Be on guard so that you will not be carried away by the errors of these wicked people and lose your own secure footing. They will even deny the deity of Mary and the power of papal authority.

Then I looked at this: rom 3:22even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction; 23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus;…

Wow Peter never said that he was the first pope or that Mary was without sin. For all have sinned means that no one is infallible. How can a fallen race where everyone is a sinner be in control of the church.

Then I began to think that the only person never to sin was the man Christ Jesus-maybe he should be the one in charge of the church.

Reminds me of somewhere scripture says do not add to or take away from scripture.

You went church shopping too. And you let a college professor talk you into it, according to you.

You were a Baptist, but you didn't like their art, architecture, and music, so you went and started dating an older woman.

Church shopping.

And btw, if you are in a church that practices water baptism, then you are in a Baptist church, no matter what name is on the sign out front.

The CoC folks won't like to hear this, since they battle the Baptists on a regular basis with these endless silly debates.

Nope. Didn't leave until true one found me.

Protesters try them out like a pair of shoes.

Young people generally go with the best youth group and older ones go for comfort and convenience.

Thanks for quoting a verse that disproves once saved always saved.

The Jesuits didn't drag you off to some RCIA indoctrination camp. You went willingly. Because some professor in college showed you some pretty pictures.

High end church shopper.

You went from one Baptist church to another.

Do they baptize in your church?

You know that was another obvious problem. A church that was called Baptist but baptism didn't mean anything

You never said which of the Churches you visited were not Bible based.

Why would you want to keep that a secret and let people possibly go to hell over you inside information.

God wants the whole world to be part of the Church which is the body of Christ, because it has the fullness of the Truth and he wants everybody to be as one.

It means something to them if you are trying to join their church. If you ain't baptized, or have a letter from another church documenting that you have been baptized, you ain't joining their church.

All of which shows where their priorities are.

In The Church the priority would be salvation.and eternal life. And in the Church, they just ask you.
