I bought a African grey parrot that was listed in the paper. Met the lady in Bloomington. This was in spring of 2002. Lady was blonde. Must have been in her 40s. Drove a dark colored cavalier

did she give you a name for the bird? mine was abu, but she could of changed it. he had a large vocabulary. was not real friendly of strangers. thankyou for replying to my post. she changed her hair color quite a bit, and vehicles, even her name. she was quite a criminal.some of the words my bird would say was"what are you doing" make a squeeking door sound, come here, laughing, and many others, dont know if he would talk, he must of been so scared, being as I had raised him from a egg, and he was very attached to me.

andrew, I hope to hear from you. its quite likely the bird you bought is mine. i am offering a reward for my bird, plus I would pay you what ever you paid for him. if you could not part with him, atleast i would like to know how he is doing, and if he is friendly, cause my bird only knew me, and did not like other people.sometimes these types of birds never take to someone else, that is why a ton of them end un wanted, and in rescue centers. or not to be able to fully enjoy there lifes, stuck in a cage, cause some one cannot handle them.I love this bird with all my heart. i think of him at least 10 times a day.he is like my child.
