I believe what I see on TV is just a made for television hoax. I have become consumed with what is a "real" gypsy lifestyle, culture and beliefs. I am from a small town in North Carolina and we have our fair share of unusual cultures. Most people don't believe it exists but we have families living around here that are incestious and breed within themselves. So, I am not easily offended and try very hard to keep an open mind to peoples choices, cultures and lifestyles. I am so interested in meeting and interviewing a real gypsy. I am so close to getting in my car and driving to Martinsburg WV to see if I can stay a week or so and get just a glimpse of a gypsy walking around.

Is this the best place to go?

Im an Irish traveller my name is kathleen Marie mcdonagh i got married when i just turned 18 and i have 3 kids
i believe what i see because its very similar over here and in England but i find that America gypsys are more expressive about relationships and work! You would never hear of am English or Irish gypsy/traveller talk about wanting a boyfriend or bringing gorje off working with them lol just isn't done and certainly wouldn't see a traveller father walk his 14year old daughter up and down Boston in a big pink dress or talk about the fact he's dying to get her married lol

So i have a ? My dad was full romanichal and my mom is full irish traveler does that make me a reff???? My dad left when i was younger but i never strayed away from my gypsy roots i have been a clean girl but since i did not grow up with my dad will any ramanichal boy ever want me im 17 and i feel like im getting a little older.
