what does everyone think about concealed carry of pistols?

just wondering how many of my fellow good honest neighbors carry? I respect all of our deputys and officers... But they have no legal obligation to protect any of us... It is sad that we must have to carry to defend ourselves from these "thugs" and "druggies" they will do anything or steal anything just to get their fix...

Hey i agree but on the subject i carry im a pro driver i drive a large truck and carry drugs to pharmacies and doc offices at any time i could have some of the hard drugs these people want if the law thinks im gona sit and let someone rob me and take the job that feeds my kids they are dead wrong preserve your own

if your legal and using it for protection i think its great it will make the thugs think twice about fking with ya. a law abiding citizen should have the right to carry a good citizen isnt where the problem is .

I'm glad to know there is more than me out there looking out for us... The good in America ... It's far and few between now... Especially in Huntington where the thugs try to intimadate average joe blow... I think this would change if average joe blow would stand up to these bulldog bark and chihuahua ass thugs... All it takes is for a real person to stand up to one of these ... They back down like whipped pups... I'll stop rambling

I got my permit a little over 20 years ago. I carry not to "look after us" but to protect ME and MY family. I know that WV has recently enacted the "castle law" but personally I will retreat if possible to avoid a gun fight. We have a lot of cowboys out there with permits who are just as dangerous as the thugs and hoodlums.
They are just looking for a reason to present their weapon. So when I am out I keep an eye on the thugs as well as the overweight guys who try to conceal their glocks in their fanny packs. You may as well carry open and save youself $75.00. I also keep an eye on the little guy who tries to walk like John Wayne.

Florida has the Stand your Ground Law, no matter where you are if you feel your life is in danger you can shoot first and it has help up in dozens of cases around the state
