This woman stole from anyone that paid in cash. Fortunately I was smart enough never to do that. But what about all the others? The only reason she didnt get any jail time is because she is 72. She still needs to spend some time in jail for what she did no matter how old she is. 5 year probation and 100 hours of commuity service what a freaking JOKE! It goes to show thaqt if you have enough money to hire an expensive lawyer you can get away with most anything.
Smithfield counsil and all the people on it gave themselves a $50 a month raise when the debt was forgiven by the county. Where did the rest of the $100,000 + go?????? This town has gone to hell in a hand basket thanks to the people who are suppose to be running it. They are all corrupt and need to be replaced! Just my opinion
