Maybe Arnold can offer a 50K reward for the shootings that occur at or near the Marina Vista. Memories and facts will start surfacing real quick. What can you say, the Marina Vista strikes again. When is the City Council going to recognize that this complex is a cancer and needs to be demolished.

Vallejo city council does not care, does not follow the crime in Vallejo. All they care about is turning on the microphone at the city council meetings and listening to their own voices. They never make any sense. The current Vallejo city council will be remembered for ever as the worst council.

"shot by about eight bullets"; this headline sounds like it was written by an illiterate 5-year old.

"Not willing to tell police what had happened prior to the shooting"

Well, this taxpayer is NOT WILLING to pay for CalStar or Reach, dude. I"m also NOT WILLING to pay for the trauma team assembled to work on your uncooperative self.

But, somehow, I'm sure that the rest of us will foot the bill for this, one way or another.

(Marina Vista apartments, sounds familiar somehow...let me think....)

marina vista needs to be torn down. city hall should take the lead...but they won't. you can put in a new bus center...parking, ect, BUT, it won't matter if you don't tear down marina vista..it's a crime center..get it city hall? No recovery for the downtown area till it's shut down.

eight gun shot wounds !!! This guy has a lot to be thankful for. I hope he wisens up during recovery and tells the police the true story. If he was shot from behind, it's either a mistaken identity, or the purposeful shooter(s) really went after him. Merry Christmas luck guy.

Why tear down Marina Vista when we can tear down a nice, tax paying cafe to build our parking garage?

Nothing to do with this story... the owners that had that cafe recently purchased the space that used to be Good Day Cafe on Admiral Callahan.

get used to the shootings and poor coverage by the Timz Hairold, an alleged newspaper! eventually shootings in Vallejo will no longer be news, and the headlines will be about what to do with the old Six Flags property that was abandoned when corporate determined Vallejo was too unsafe for their guests. Maybe it can be returned to wetlands for bird watching with a few soccer fields.

Im with Clark on this one.....why do we have to pay for that stuff? should have put him in the back of one of their pimped wheel cars.
And yeah we all joke about it but if you want to see the shooting rate..the crime rate ..the gang rate go way way down...just buldoze the place down..say bye bye to all the residents......tell them to take their troubles to another city.
Use the property to build high quality housing for folks that can afford it.
Seriously if you want the slime to move out. Do what many cities have done...tear down the old housing say bye to the poor , and build good middle class housing.
Who cares where they go....they never did anything but hurt for this town.
You want to know why this town has a high population of no goods......It because this town is "affordable". That means its like Oakland, Richmond, Bay Point-Pittsburg, and Antioch...these are the only towns slime can afford to live in. Once they get out of prison its the only place they can go. They take the prison institution mentality..plus all their gang ties out here. Because they can find a room out here.
Price them out...all of them

Marina Vista apartments: the CESSPOOL of Vallejo. That complex needs to be vacated and burnt to the ground. An empty lot would be much better for the future of Vallejo than that existing vermin infested mess.

The old downtown will NEVER revive as long as the Marina Vista dump exists.

Only in Vallejo would we get a lesson in what a through-and-through gunshot wound is. And a prime example of the phenomena, too!

Looks like some kind of street justice was meted out on this one.

Take out the trash.
