Rick was a key supporter of Joanne Schiveley’s failed Mayoral bid and although the Gay community had forgiven Osby Davis for his now infamous remarks in a New York Times article, concerning his personal feelings about Gays, Rick was part of a group of perpetually angry Gays called “Osby Ain’t Right for Vallejo”, who tried unsuccessfully, to use the Mayor’s remarks against him in order to cost him the election. This attempt failed and Davis got reelected by the largest margin in Vallejo history, receiving over a thousand votes more than Schively.
This recall is not about me. It is about removing from office two council members whose history in office has cost the city countless opportunities to grow economically and to heal our relations with our labor force, especially our police and fire fighters who these two, along with Garman and his VIB misfits, have made scapegoats for our City’s financial woes. These two council members have personally been involved in every organized group in Vallejo, to stop its growth and prosperity. They know an awful lot about what they don’t believe is best for Vallejo but they have NEVER made any suggestions or proposals concerning how to make Vallejo prosper.
It has never been the intention, nor is it the intention now, of the proponents of this recall, to have a special election costing the City of Vallejo over $800,000.00. If the sufficient amount of signatures are not obtained in time for the November election then the recall will stop."

Mr. Kurshan was never involved in a case in San Mateo where he was arrested by anyone for any reason.

Concerning the woman in New York, Mr.Kurshan was found not guilty by a jury that took only fifteen minutes to reach its verdict. Later it was determined that she had committed perjury.

What Mr. Kurshan wrote about Mr. Mariani is accurate and truthful.

Even under his real handle sammie affirmed his support for the Mayor when the Mayor got caught up in the New York Times article fiasco. If sammie was a true supporter of the Gay community he would have condemned the Mayor.
