Of course you are not sam, I am not JD Miller, Alun Whitaker, Marc Garmen, Stephanie Gomes, Marti Brown, or anyone else you have accused me of. The advantage I have is that there are many more different posters that support all of the above...then the two or three that support you...
LOL!

i have not accused you of anything, i simply used known jd miller rants at vib to run in my syntax program and the match was precise. sure you don't like it. have another slug of wine and try again, jd.

Some universities use "text matching" software to verify students test submittals. Everyone has a writing style that is often as unique as their voice or fingerprints.

District reps won't change a thing, IMO. This town is dark blue with the mental disease of liberalism.

Here's a case study of how district representation could happen in Vallejo...

Mayor to push for district representation on council
Voters have rejected idea in the past;
mayor says support growing for the change.

The citizens are entitled to vote on this idea. They can figure out the mapping afterwards. The established cabals do not want their influence diluted by a more inclusionary voting populace in forgotten parts of the city, South Vallejo is a big area that is another world away from downtown and waterfront interests.

Spam, Clueless, Nuts you say? The people of South Vallejo could use an economic shot in the arm and some jobs when the General Mills site starts working again, but the swells along the trackage are already crying about the trains going through their neighborhood, the noise, diesel exhaust, train crossings, or what "might" happen at the site. As long as it provides some job opportunities for South Vallejo I'm all for it. When we were kids we used to get a big kick out of watching the trains go past Vallejo Little League, horns blaring, the front light going in tight circles. I miss that.

What is important to note is that the people were allowed to vote on it. That is what I am pushing for, let the people decide. It goes hand-in-hand with the new Vallejo attitude and I believe the concept scares the crap out of certain factions around here. I believe self-serving corruption will be reduced a great degree with district establishment.

If the Council doesn't act on it the people can enact it directly through a ballot issue. Part one is to vote out all VIB candidates in November.

There is an agenda item for Tuesday to direct staff to put an item on the ballot. It's that easy but somebody has to get the ball rolling to make this vote in November.

Excuse me but the council will be directing staff to put three questions on the ballot to amend the charter, and one of them is the switch to even year elections. See, they are allowing the voters to decide as they should. They can certainly direct staff to add another one to solicit voter input regarding switching to district representation. Do you realize what a dumb comment you just made, really. I am informed, I know way too much for some people's comfort.

Let me break down the Cliff Notes so you don't have to endure the 150+ silly remarks

Fatty pants Kursham feels he has a better shot at getting elected if districting occurs, hence his latest spin out of control movement. Not much different than the recall, him running on the zero funds ballot, etc., this will end like all his other quests to get elected. In total and utter failure with levels of jealousy and hatred like you've never seen before.

How do you feel about letting the citizens decide if we are going to apportion districts? I don't care what Kurshan is thinking. All it takes is council to direct staff to do so. The idea could be soundly rejected so why not allow the people to decide?

district reps will most certainly be rejected if it means a psycho like kurshan could be on council.

i noticed in the staff reports for tuesday that the closed session discussions for vpoa had member sampayan recusing, then gomes recused from discussion on camp. looks like the new "conflict of interest" rules are being observed. that being said, it looks like sampayan will have to recuse on vpoa contract vote, and it could split 3-3.

FOTFLMAO!!!! you know nothing!!! yes, there are three questions before the council. other than that, you are totally wrong. there is NOTHING concerning district elections on the agenda. because the brown act precludes council from discussing or VOTING on items not appearing on the agenda, they CANNOT simply add district elections to the item. as i said, inform yourself.
