We American have sold out to the war profit demon
He is our Daddy now
You will suffer the indignities of the enslaved
All races, religions and beliefs
Together we war on innocents
Because our Daddy tells us to
We are weak beyond pity
Indolent, spoiled and stupid
And believe me, it's NOT OK and it can get a WHOLE lot worse quickly.
Todays "fools" will be tomorrows experts....after the next wave of Obama/ union/ psychowar.

This is part of the "green policy"..now Richmond thugs won't have to drive across the bridge to rob folks.

<quoted text>....yes, minimum wage jobs--nothing substantial. The money casinos take out of people's pockets is the issue---less disposable income for the rest of the economy
You make your money, you spend it how you want. I don't patronize casinos myself, but I've got no problem with people that do. Some gamble to excess, just like some people have other vices they pursue to excess, but most view casino gambling as just another form of entertainment.

What "substantial" jobs will the casino cause to disappear? Most of the substantial jobs in Richmond are Chevron who's always under attack by Marin "environmentalists" and city government.

Atlantic City, like Richmond, had a depressed downtown in 1978. Then the "geniuses" had the idea that gambling would cure that. The casinos now make billions, but most of Atlantic City is worse than it was 30 years ago. Whatever businesses are still operating in Richmond might not make it now.

The refineries ARE necessary, but they must obey state environmental laws, that's all I ask as a greenie.
