In light of the projected five million dollar deficit, all ear marked monies of the three and a half million dollars of the Measure B tax increase, whixh was set aside for "participatory budgeting" (by Marti the flip flopper who was against measure B) should be used to hire more police and ensure other city services are not cut.

she should have chirped up to have some measure c money given to her project, she DID support that measure. marti brown is nuts in my opinion. further, none of the four gomers supported the added tax of measure b, then turn around and chopped off a chunk for marti. wrong!!

Ummm. Have you failed to mention the TWO raises police got while IN the Bankruptcy. The first was only 6.29%. Just that was more than the money that the citizens, even like you, get to recommend what to spend it on. They could even recommend it for more salaries and PERS benefits just like you want. Why didn't you think of that?

Yeah, for God's sake, let not let the public decide how to spend the money when we have idiots like Osby Davis and Hermie Sunga on board who voted to give raises to the cops when we were in the midst of bankruptcy. Oh no, that would be INSANE, huh?

Besides, since the money in participatory budgeting will no doubt go to a project that would have probably been funded by the city council anyway, it would be best just to shut the whole thing down... right?

Idiots.
we need that money

Wendy, you know nothing, email whomever you want. I have never defrauded anyone. My rectum is cleaner than your entire existence.

There is no pending case with the DA concerning election fraud or any other matter.

Get over it Wendy, you are hallucinating again.

The participatory budgeting experiment is ill timed. The money (all of it) should go towards public safety, specifically the hiring of more police.

VIB is finished politically. No VIB politician will be elected or re elected in November.

By your own admission with an already $5 million deficit and only 3.2 million in PB how would you hire more Police? Your math stinks sammie.

That could only have been done with a special tax vote that required 2/3rds. You're so far out in denial land it must be strange in a fantasy world like that.

This is one of the strongest tools we have against nutty Marti. She DID NOT WANT the tax but took the money from it after it passed. Grossly wrong!!
