All these police leaving and a new affordable contract should leave plenty of money for cameras and monitors. Only problem is there won't be any police to respond to crimes in progress.

They are getting out to maintain their highest year pension calculations before the haircut contract. You will be under 80 officers by July. Crime is STILL going up, up, up.

Well, sure, but a good point was made in another post about the ages of these officers. Most of them are well and ready to retire; we're not losing thirtysomethings. I agree with whoever that was that Nichelini ought to have hired more younger officers some years ago, which would have also have helped to prevent a retirement glut like this one.
