Yea anyone can go to church there. But it is a church that is helping ex cons and drug addicts to get right with God. Any church can do that not just hope church but how many drug addicts and ex cons feel comfortable at church. U have so many people look down on these people and treat them like crap. Anyone can change for the better. So my best wishes to the hope church y'all r doing a great job

How many more people are saying the same thing....oh they did drugs, or they were in jail, they are dope heads, they are crack heads, but how many of you are helping? There is no way that they can go to chuch if you are addicted to anything, but how many of you know the story in the Bible about the man who lived in the cemetary because he was not fit to live in society? He was filled with Deamons, and they call us Leigon becuase we are many, and the towns people said here comes Jesus, Here comes Jesus....That man, even with 6 deamons went to Jesus bowed. He went to get healing. and Jesus cast out those devils. Nobody is perfect, and neither are any of you. The Jail house Jesus is real, but if you have nothing but to go back to those people, places, and things that you were around before, you will go back to do those same things, no matter what your intentions are. I have never been an addict, but I have worked in counsiling of addicts, and even used drugs myself, and we all fall. It is weather or not we are willing to get back up, and try harder. or just give up. Hope is instilling just that hope for something better than the life they were living. Did you know that there are people who have now gone over 365 days in sobriety? There are people who have checked themselves in to rehab, where they would have NEVER thought of it themselves? Did you know that they have a Church service on Friday nights, and Sunday afternoons at 1, when it is easier to get to for those who work nights, and weekends? They have Celebrate Recovery meetings on Tuesday, Prayer meetings on Wed....Brother Gerald Simmons is trying to do something better than just preach the word. He is walking, talking, and practicing it. You should go and take in a service. No one is shunned or turned away. There are no self righteous buttholes that judge you because of your past, and give a person the confidence to change.
Have a great and blessed day.

i have friends that go to this chruch and i will agree they were on drugs or maybe still are but i tell u what it makes me feel good when i call one of them on a weekend and of stead of them telling me they are drunk or high somewhere or fixing to get into trouble it is great words to hear them say they are in chruch and knowing they are getting help may not be the help they really need but close enough for them to be safe and taking steps when they never though they would. to feel people around them that have the same problems and feelings i am sorry i believe in god i loved chruch when i was growing up until i grew up and started realizing that the chruches yes tried many different types that people would judge u for what u wore talked about u and learned more about ur family to have gossip partys instead of really caring i dont go to this hope chruch and i didnt agree at first until i seen my friends start looking better and giving more then they have been to make a change in their lifes and i am talking about friends who really needed to be lifted and this chruch is doing the best things that could happen to martin for these people

Hope church is not just for addicts and ex cons. It is for everyone! The church worships and help the hurting. All the hurting; depressed, abused, insecure, etc. Every person has an issue of some type and this church is for you. The people there are not just a congregation. They are your family! You will feel welcome enough to open your heart to God and the Family there to bear your burdens if you need too and not be criticized or gossiped about. They are there to help you! This church has the annointing of God and is what a church is supposed to be! To worship the King of Kings and to help the hurting. You come as you are, faults and all, and no one will make you feel inferior. They will lift you up and with God's direction, will help you overcome!! Come visit and see. Fridays: meals at 6:30 service at 7:00. Sundays at 1PM and Wed. at 7PM.
