Any place or dr you guys can recommend in the area to get LASIK done that good but also affordable? Also what's the best type of LASIK to get? I see there is the custom type that uses the lasers to keep from having the eyes actually cut on but is also more expensive.

Had mine done in Paris, was referred by Dr. Carrico in Union City. It has been about 5 or 6 years ago but very satisfied with results. I think Loden Vision Center is the name of the place.

Dr. Toyos is very good. Go with the best surgery you can no matter the cost.

Ok thanks for the feedback ppl! I think I have it narrowed down between Loden in Paris and Toyos in Jackson. Wouldn't wanna go to Memphis or Nashville cuz as I understand u have to do a few follow up visits to make sure things are looking right and I'd hate to make that 6 hour roundtrip to either city.

So no one has any comment on custom LASIK? Also who is Dr Donnie?

Donnie Davis.... I see 20/20 individually and 20/10 bi-lateral. I had it done right after they started doing it, so it was $2000 for both eyes. It has been great. I had 1 or 2 follow ups right after and the first one was 3 days after the surgery. All you have to do is stare up at a red light and except for the thing they put in your eyes to keep you from blinking, it was painless.
