Yeah can't blame the parent's for his choices or actions because their influence on him only reaches so far but you can lay blame on the fact that they have helped him out so much in the past that he has yet to learn from any of his previous mistakes and if they continue to do so it will steadily get worse.. Now I'm not saying I wouldn't do the same for my children if funds were as available as theirs but then again you have to think about when you wont be able to be their for your children and the lessons you've allowed them to learn the hard way are the ones to guide them the rest of the way. They have court soon and we'll see if he gets off again if so I think it's a damn shame honestly money and who his family is shouldn't dictate how he is handled in a criminal court.

its not fair, if I write a bad check, or speed, its going in the paper where I live. Either publish everything or nothing. I would prefer nothing on nobody. Except those who hurt children. I think they deserve the humiliation.

They do go to court this month. And I feel like they are no better than anyone else when it comes to the charges you do the crime than you do the time.....That is the way it has always been they need to look at it as what if the kids were there and or if they blew the house up what about the neighbors that is wrong i dont care who their family is they done it to theirselves so they need to pay for what they did and it shouldnt be a slap on the wrist they will never learn...

I fully believe that if my son, living in my house, was running a meth lab I WOULD HAVE KNOWN. Yes, money talks!!! The last election just proved that.

Every meth lab does hurt children. Even if the people do not have kids or give drugs to kids I bet the use or sell to some childs parent. The effects meth has on parenting is so awful that kids are taken immediately many times for a failed meth test. If your on drugs try birth control. And the parents should have at least been aware there was a drug problem. The parents that dont let their kids be held accountable & get them help are the ones that never see a change & often bury their kids. They become a statistic. Parents, dont believe them, watch them, you shouldnt trust them, get them long term treatment in good facilities with proven track records, but dont buy their way out of it. But do make sure the attorney asks for a diversion available IF the individual does change & do well so that they can become a productive citizen one day.

Quite clear the adverse effects of meth ' prior to becoming addicted. Lock em up and forget there their, they were once members of society. Easy solution. Eventually all the meth heads will realize that it ain't worth it. Simple solution to a complex problem.

People who are arrested for manufacturing Meth should NOT get a pr-trial diversion. The should go to jail and be posted on the state's Meth offender database website, just like the sex offenders.

I can't imagine why anyone would consume a drug made from camping fuel (Hitler's army used it) but if it weren't for the meth-ers half the cops in this area wouldn't have jobs and they'd have trouble keeping their jail full.

If all the drug users in the county would just stop using drugs for six months the courthouse would lose half its income. Constitutionally a person has a right to put anything into their body, so all drug laws are un-Constitutional.

But the silly 'war on drugs' begun in 1968 by one of the biggest CRIMINALS ever--RICHARD NIXON--is an utter disaster.

And the president who campaigned on "smaller government"--RONALD REAGAN--boosted government spending into the BILLIONS for the useless, unwinnable 'war on drugs.'

Now every police department in the nation is hooked, like junkies, on federal/state funds. The police also froth at the mouth over the opportunity to seize (steal?) vehicles, guns, property etc from druggies. This of course creates criminal and un-Constitutional activity among the police, who are sworn to uphold the Constitution.

So, as usual, its the love of money behind everything.

I'm not surprised to see that 'ItsJustMe' wants to jail sick people. Drug addicts are sick. Drug addiction is a sickness and needs treatment--not jail.

What you don't understand 'ItsJustMe' is that when in jail, these people meet other druggies and widen their drug contacts and expand their knowledge of drugs. And in most jails, they have access to drugs which are brought in by the low-paid jailers. So your 'jail em' attitude illuminates your ignorance and highlights your lack of compassion.

Most people like you are very unhappy and sadistic. You take pleasure in seeing sick people suffer. What's wrong with your soul?

I know a couple in their early 40s. They have one grown son. They shoot meth and treatment was a waste of time for both of them. They are both in jail now, she gets out around Christmas and she will do it all over again. Some people can't be helped. Neither has worked them so far.

Excuse me why dont you say this to the person who wrote the original post. Anyone that does drugs and gets busted need to be in jail and on a meth offender list. I have a family member in prison and he does not get ahold of drugs and thats why he went cause he kept getting busted. If you do the crime you need to do the time!! Sounds like your the one that is a meth head and and taken up for the meth heads!! Hello drug heads chose to do these drugs they are not sick they know what they are doing!! My soul belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ...what is wrong with you for taking up for ppl like this!!
