Is it normal for a garden pond to have about five inches of water evaporate daily in this heat? I can't find a leak anywhere.

With this heat and drought it is completely normal. That sun is evaporating every source of water.

i have been adding water lately but not 5 inches, i have been loosing less than an inch a day in this heat. I have been adding just a little every day.
