McDonald's Drive Thru

I don't mind having to pull up and wait a minute. That really doesn't bother me. But I went by on my lunch break one day, it was around 2:30- 3 and not at all busy. I was asked to drive ahead and wait, no big deal. But when I received my food, I ordered snack wraps, they didn't have any chicken AND were the wrong kind. So I put my car in park by the door and had them fix it. I worked in fast food before and trust me, there is no excuse for that level of failure.

Amen! Its not rocket science. Do you think they ever taste the tea! It either tastes like water or like they used a 10 lb bag per gallon of tea. And what's up with 1 tiny piece of bacon on a buscuit' if they are trying to sav money the fire the ones that screw up every order

<quoted text> the drive through is also for people with big orders. Many people dont want to come in with a entire family, many people are not dressed to come in or need to get home to their family with an order. One could say the drive through is for anyone not able to come in. Therefore its just as easy for someone only getting a coke or a dessert to go in and get it. The drive through is not just for people with short orders they could go in just as easily. The drive though is for people who are not able to come in and there is just as many people in the drive through line with short orders that could of went inside as people at the drive through with big orders. The drive through should be for families that cant come in or individuals who are willing to wait their turn. Its a lot easier for someone who is dressed to come in just wanting a coke and a burger as a mother with five kids at home waiting on a meal.
If it's so easy for everyone and everyone waits the same why don't you go inside and get your meals for your five kids?

Dumbass. Can't you read. The drive thru is so that you DON'T have to go inside. She's fit five kids!!!! She does not want to have to unload all if them!!!!! HELLO!!!! How stupid is it not to have good ready at the busiest times! Like fries... They say can you pull up we are waiting on fries...well you can see when you are running low why can't you "drop" more in to cook!!!! MISMANAGEMENT for sure

Then be courteous to the people behind you and pull up or if she wants Mickey D's for five kids - go inside. You can use all the exclamation points you want but that's still the answer.

Alright. Most of you clearly have never had o work at a McDonal's. ike any job, there are procedures and rules you have to follow. All of you complaining about being pulled up, the protocol is HBO or go. That means if the runner, the person putting food in the bag, doesn't have the food needed for the order within 10 seconds, they are asked to pull up. Be curteous. There are othr peopl in line behind you waiting, and if their food isn't ready, thy are asked to pull up as well. That's just the way. It's not a new system, it's been happening for years. Also, your food NEVER gets "tainted." That is completely against the law. Have you ever noticed how many camperas are in and around the stores? Workers and customers alike are constantly watched. There are cameras in the lobby, outside, behind the counter, in te stock room, freezer, really almost everywhere. Martin McDonald's is generally super clean and pretty fast and accurate. I worked there, I know. Most people don't mind waiting for fresh food. Who ever wants to bitch about a wait should get your lazy self out of your car and off your butt and cook your own food and stop trying to make life harder on a bunch of workers. Most of the workers there are college students, full time students, paying their way through school. All you do with complaining is making their already stressful lives that much worse. The Martin store's general manager's name is Ms. Ava. She's a great GM and I loved her to death! Ya'll need to get your stuff straight an get a life if you have nothing better to do than to complain about past experiences at a fast food restaurant. It's fast food, not instant! Now go live a happy life and try being nicer to drive through employees.

First let me say that if you have issues with the McDonald's in Martin part of the problem is some of the managers! I've been in the store and heard their conversations with guest, being their friends, and they are talking about employees that work in the store. That in itself is wrong! I worked in the store when it first opened in Martin and we were taught how to run the store the correct way. My suggestion to all who have complaints, please contact Robert Kenworthy in the Paris store(he owns most of the McDonalds in this area) and let him know. The way they run the store in Martin is shameful and he needs to rethink some peoples position within the company. Get rid of the ponytail wearing manager for sure. She is rude to the employees and her attitude is rotten.I like most of the people that work there but when I see her there, I get my food to go. And yes, they could do better by getting the orders correct and you shouldn't have to wait so long in getting your food. That should be addressed by the manager running the kitchen and grill. And everthing in Martin is not lousy, if you don't like it here, move.

All the excuses in the world won't hide the fact if lazy slow workers. Not all of them are but it does fall back on mismanagement and being organized. If you can not multi task then go dig ditches. Martin McDonalds is one of the worst ever. The drink machine was do nasty the other day we just went next door and got drinks

The drink machine is not the only thing nasty at martin. I mangaged a resteraunt and all though it has it moments there is no reason for the dining area to have ten or more filthy tables. I rarely go to martin that I dont have to clean off my own table. It needs to be someones job wheather it be the manager or a kithen cook to walk the dining area at least every 15 min to clean the tables and make sure the dining area is in satisfactory condition.

. I agree that if you have a big order and are ask to pull up fine. The thing is that I have been ask to pull up when I did not have a big order. When I have pulled up for a simple cheesburger, fries and drink. Then instead of them working on getting me my order. They are busy filling the next five cars behind me. I have stopped pullling up. I waited my turn the person behind me can wait theirs. I have noticed when I do not pull up my wait time is about half the time as when I do pull up. I will never pull up again. Drive through windows should be on a first come first serve basis regaurdless of what you order. I have a few suggestions. If your ordering for five people call your order in from cell phone or home and tell them you will be picking it up in the drive through. If you show up and its a long line and your not willing to wait go inside or simply go somewhere else. If you want to eat there wheather inside or out get in line and wait your turn. If you do have an unusually large order or have made special order request pull up if ask. If you made a simple order hold your spot and dont pull up you will get your order faster.

Believe that mcds have there reason way they Ask u to pull aside and is there right to do, i am sure that they say that there sorry for the wait and if they made a mistake, NO one is perfect.
Also Will like to say at midnight they don't cook much cause i am sure u don't want ur food to be cold or old. So for sure ur going to wait. Sorry!

And for the clueless, when there is so much business, fresh "food" has to be cooked when they run out and that usually takes a while. If you want to eat, keep your ass at home and learn to cook your own damn food.

Cheaper and healthier.

I have no problem pulling up if asked to
I mean really if there is someone behind you and all they ordered was something like a sweet tea or milkshake why hold then up. I only eat breakfast at McDonald's though because it is kind of nasty not all the time but about 75% of the time. If I do happen to go for lunch I go through drive thru. Less you know the better off you are.

I have been asked to pull forward at a local McDonald's one too many times as of today. I refuse and tell them to give me my money back. This results in my order being handed to me right then, or today they actually gave me my money back. I thought that McDonald's was "fast food". I wouldn't think anyone without any special orders would have to pull forward and wait. We ordered shakes and a cone from a machine that doesn't even require any COOKING!!

What's up with this rude practice McDonald's has instituted? When you have to wait at the drive-thru window for your order, they ask you to pull up. If someone else has already pulled up, they ask you to park in the parking lot and tell you someone will bring your order out to you. When I complained to the home office, they sent me an apology and a coupon. Yet the Martin store continues the practice. I have started refusing to do it. If more people would, maybe we could break them of this.

Martin Mcdonald's is slow, slow, slow, inside or out. I no longer use the drive-thru--too many mistakes.
