Women just feel like itís O.K. to read it. Itís taboo for women to admit that they watch pornography, but for some reason itís O.K. to admit that theyíre reading this book.

I'm reading it right now. It is based on a Twilight fanfic called "Master of the Universe", which I also read passages from a few years ago when it was published online.

FSoG is just harmless fun, IMHO. The first book cotains most of the s and M. The other two are about the couple's marriage and babies. They are happily married and just do a little kink now and then for fun.:)

Yes, it was...Christian and Anastasia were originally Edward and Bella. Well, an alternate universe version of Edward and Bella, where Edward was a human millionaire and Bella was a college student.

Instead of judging these people, just let them live their lives. Who are you to judge them for what they choose to read?

The ones who need Christianity the most are the ones who judge Christians the most.

I have a concern about the type of sex described in this book. Also about some womens apparent fascination in sadistic sex. This is indicated by the level of appeal by some women.
The thing that is disturbing about this book is womenís apparent acceptance of being sexually submissive to a dominant man through sadomasochism.

Sadomasochism is a humiliating and degrading form of sexual perversion practiced by those who suffer from emotional problems. Studies have shown that prior emotional, sexual, and/or physical abuse can contribute to a person's need to engage in this sel f- destructive behavior. There are two roles in the sadomasochistic setting. The dominant person (sadist) who derives sexual pleasure by degrading, humiliating, binding and/or inflicting pain upon his/her sex partner, and the submissive partner (masoch ist) who receives this mistreatment, and in the process, claims to derive sexual pleasure. Unfortunately, death has resulted from this form of sex-play. It is my belief that sadomasochism is a dangerous form of sex-play and should be addressed as a perversion that requires psychological therapy

Are you married? Do you have children? If you have kids, how were they conceived? Was it a miracle & god touched you are your wife & you had a virgin birth?

All I have to say about this thread is wow. What does it matter who reads these books? If they aren't your cup of tea then move on and forget about them like an adult instead of acting like a child and judging people. Just because someone enjoys these books doesn't make them any less of a person. It really isn't your concern if your neighbor reads the books or if your pastor's wife reads them. Everyone has flaws, so get over it.

How is it any of anyone else's business what you do in your bedroom. That is insane and truthfully those of you doing the judging are living with some very sad men. Men don't like a dead lay and a prude . Testing your limits is how you become fully aware of your own body and you can safely test those limits without injury LMAO. All I can say is no wonder men cheat when women have that mind set.

Actually as a good erotica book....it sucks.
Way over rated. Oprah liked it so it did well.
As far as sadomasochism goes it was elementary to say the least.

I read all three books and it was alright. Reading them one time was enough.
