Romney was taped without his knowledge talking to some rich donors. He told them that he wasn't concerned with 47%-48% of the population. The ones that don't pay Federal taxes. That would include seniors on ss. the disabled and some returning war veterans. etc.

He thinks middle income is between $200,000-$250,000. WoW! That man never lived in West Tennessee! I guess when you have a net worth of maybe $264 million, you are really out of touch!

He wants to be President of us all but he has been taped twice now saying he isn't concerned with the poor! So folks, if you make under $200,000.....you are poor and Mitt isn't concerned with you because you're a free loader.

He thinks his money can buy him the White House but he may have another think coming!

When i see the whole tape i will form an opinion. Its like a trailer to a movie, they give you a view that makes you think its one way. Then you see the whole thing and its totally different. Dont jump to conclusions so fast.

I personally don't like either candidate this year but I will say that Romney won't try to run our country off a cliff like Obama. He is an American and knows how to manage money since he has always been in charge of it. Obama might not have been taped but I can assure you that he doesn't care about ANY Americans with any net worth or income. I know there aren't any good choices this year but I urge everyone to please pick the lesser of the two evils. Obama has had 4 years and has only made things worse. Let's at least give someone else a chance while there is still time. We know what the next 4 years will be like with Obama in office!!

I agree Romney isnt going to end pulic assistance programs. He will make them where they are not needed as much by creating jobs. SS and medicare will end themselves in a few years if they are not fixed and thats the truth. I have not seen any attempts to fix these programs by Obama. He does try to scare people by saying they would be ended by the other party.

Show some facts that Obama is trying to run the country off a cliff? He's been trying to pull us out of this disaster your party left us with. He's been doing it on his own because your party made a deal with Mitch McConnel and other Republicans to obstruct the President at every turn so they could have him fail. They made it clear and have it recorded for all to hear. By doing this, the Republicans also hurt us, the citizens. They aren't interested in doing the job they were sent to Washington to do. They are there to try and get re-elected. Hopefully, enough people with common sense will put Obama back in the White House because Republicans are only interested in helping the rich!
Romney proved his intentions by picking Paul Ryan as his V.P. pick. Ryan was one of only a few that was for George Bush's big plan to do away with social security and have everyone save money in 401's etc. Then right after that everyone's 401 accounts lost tons of money. You can't gamble your money in the stock market and be assured it will be there when you need it.
Paul Ryan is also well known for his plan to voucherize medicare. That means you will only be given a certaint amount of money and if you need more money for health reasons, you're on your own.
Don't be fooled into believing Romney/Ryan care about you. Their whole plan is to give more to the rich and hope it will trickle down to everyone else. This outdated theory didn't work in the past and won't work in the future.

Welfare is what politicians get when they retire. We still pay for their offices and staff, health benefits and pensions no matter how many millions they have in the bank.

Reading these comments, it becomes clear that Romney isn't the only one with a lack of respect for the working poor and the lower middle class. Apparently his supporters feel the same way! Sorry guys, the working poor and lower middle class build our roads and buildings, grow and harvest our food, fix our vehicles and keep this society functioning. We can do without investors much quicker than we can do with out "those" people. Investors and bankers have crashed 401K's, caused the housing crisis, brought the economy to the brink of Depression. And yet they consider themselves "superior" to those who work everyday to keep this country fed, in repair, functioning. They need a reality check. Acquiring huge amounts of money, usually by conning it out of the rest of society, does not make you "superior." A thief, maybe, but not superior. By the way, before you start your insults, I am a grandmother, not a homosexual. I am a tax payer who has never asked anyone for anything including student loans. I am out of debt, owe nothing, I am not, nor have I ever been on welfare or any other kind of government assistance. I pay my own insurance, always have. I just know who I really need, and it isn't people with a lack of respect for the decent, honest work that people do every day. I consider Romney and his class the victims, victims of their own greed. Remember that Jesus said, "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of the needle than for a rich man to enter heaven. Reread the parable. Jesus did not reject the rich man. The rich man rejected Jesus because he couldn't give up his riches which he valued above even his own soul. I have belief in my people. All of them. Someone who does not does not need to be President of this great country.

As i read these comments i really feel for this country. Your party this and that. If you really cant get past party politics you deserve what is coming. People just dont get it. They want us fighting so they can sell us out and most seem to be dumb to that fact.

I have to say Obama is the best used car salesman i have ever seen. He can sell you a lemon and convince you that although its a lemon its still better than what you would have gotten somewhere else.

I'm sure you are one of the 47% he was referring to, but you're too ignorant to realize it yet!

Remember mandatory health care debate. Another step toward socialism = not fun. Look back 4 years, look now, quite obvious new leadership is desperately needed. Better to have a business man run the country than someone that has never managed any kind of business. Would you want a doctor operating on you that never did anything except mow grass? Romney will get the job done.

Yeah! Thats what we're afraid of. Romney/Ryan will get the job done alright...They'll end both social security and medicare. They'll have us back in another war or two, plus there will only be super rich and super poor people left in the U.S.
Their priorities are not for us, Romney said so himself!

I'm part of the percentage that says, "kiss my ass!" I want that worthless president of yours out of office. BTW, the only people despising the comment are the ones that took it out of context. It was in no way demeaning to that "47%." It was all about getting their vote, not about indifference to their economic status, in which your president is purposely prolonging.
