Dont think he cares that he is a cocky prick and doubt he cares what people on this site thanks. But yo at lease we have all made our point. Cant stand him and will never let my kid play for him. And yes, for the love of god please get rid of him before they win another District Championship! Could have taken any moron off the street and won with that group.

He has lost MANY good softball players over the years because of the way he acts. It's ashame that talented kids who love the game don't or can't play because putting up with his abuse is not worth . He had an awesome basketball team this year because they are talented, he just has no clue how to coach them. He continually humiliated almost all of them. It's pitiful for Westview athletics to allow such a pompous control freak ruin our kids the way he does. He humiliates then texts them later and sucks up to them so they won't qiut, grow up, what an idiot !

These comments could not be more true.As a parent of a former softball player, I am so happy to FINALLY have him out of my childs life. The sad thing about it is several of these girls have so much talent, but he takes away any love they have for the game, and if they are mentally strong enough to endure the mental abuse he dishes out, by the time they reach their senior year they no longer have the desire to play. I hear people from other softball programs talk about what a great coach he is, taking Westview Softball to the state tournament for the past 4 years. THEY HAVE NO CLUE!! Those girls got there on their own, it had NOTHING to do with his coaching, and everything to do with the fact that these girls have played travel ball together year after year since they were 8 years old.Their talent level is where it is because of Steve Reynolds, and John Hazelwood period!!He has lost his Fab Four, as they were referred to so many times, the senior players from last year. I would have loved to have seen what Westview could have done at the state level with a REAL COACH, and this year we will all get to see what an awesome coach he really is without all that talent to make him look good!!!

Sounds like this guy should be reported to the police. He humiliates and abuses people? You all should be ashamed that you have not protected these kids better than this. Someone please stop him before it is too late.

bTJLG2010 - you nailed it, I am veer familiar with everything you said and your right ... To "oh my" it's mental and emotional abuse so you can't bring charges unto him. Us parents have complained to him and administration but it does no good. He gets better for a couple of weeks and goes right back to it, your dealing with a pompous idiot that has no business coaching kids. As for my child, I will not let them play for him and it's ashame because they are VERY talented and love the game.

Maybe your daughter is not mentally tough! What is she going to do in "life" when things get tough? Apparently you have taught her to QUIT...

No one should have to be mentally tough enough to endure abuse. Mental and emotional scars last forever just like physical ones. Now I don't have a dog in this particular fight... I don't have a daughter who plays softball or a son that plays basketball for Coach Suiter. However, I do know that you don't go around telling a parent who chooses not to subject their child willingly to abuse that they are teaching their child how to quit. Like you said, life is tough enough on its own, why in the world would you not want to spare your child from additional pain? Its the parents who hand their children over to coaches to raise and watch silently as this person tears their child apart are the reason that bad coaches get out of hand. Like I said, I don't know if Coach Suiter is one of them, and it is not my place to say so, but there are plenty in this county that have been allowed to take things too far. I don't know when it became a coach's decision what your child ate, where they attended church (as I understand some coach's have required their teams to attend certain churches on certain Sundays), and when you could go on vacation because it is when your child can miss a practice. Some of these coaches exist because we have made them...

Obviosly you dont have children Coon Dog. For your info, my child does not want to play for him because of how he mentally abuses his players. A lot of harm can be done to a child that has to endure that for four years. I have a happy and good hearted child and I'm sure not going to let that big jerk ruin them.

If this post is aimed at me, for your information, my daughter did indeed stick it out the entire 4 years, and she did not quit. She did it not for him, but for her teammates. However she was an awesome player, and had several scolarships from different colleges to play ball offered to her. She turned them all down because she no longer loved playing the game. That love was taken away from her by her coach! It was a huge waste of talent. In my daughter's own words " If I could just play the game I love without having to listen to him screaming in my ear it would all be fine, but he makes me feel like i am stupid and useless". You have someone talk to a kid of yours that way and I guarantee your opinion will be alot different. Unless you have witnessed him in action, or have lived through all the negative drama with your child you really dont need to comment on something you obviously know nothing about!!!!!

Obviuosly, The athletic director and the principal don't mind how the kids get treated because the have been told and they turn the other cheek.. I think it's pitiful they let it go on. Suiter thinks he can do whatever he wants. There is always karma, he will get it someday.

BTJLG2010 - I'm pretty sure your kid didn't play college ball because of YOU. Out of curiosity is your kid in school right now and where do they work?
And did the coach tell your child they were worthless? And what did you witness? I have been reading most of this crap that people are posting but I still can't figure out how Coach Suiter mentall or emotionally abused anyone. Did he yell? Oh no!!! Please don't yell at my baby because her sh*& dont stink...
My child did play for him. I/we never had one problem and she signed college scholarship.
Also, from actually witnessing thing over the last several years of all sports. Parents are crazy especially with girls' sports. Westview Softball Parents are and have been out of control. Get a grip and grow up.
