What is the best solution to getting rid of brown recluse spiders? What kind of spray is good to use and not harmful to humans?

Thanks.

The best thing to do is buy those sticky pads from Lowes etc. Put them in your closets and all around your house.

those spiders dont let their bodies touch the ground, so poisons dont work. There are glue traps...no chemicicals...you put in closets, attacks, etc..when they walk thru them they are stuck. Thats all that works unless you completely bomb spray your house..like fumigate.

Yes.......I bought some at Lowes that were for spiders & insects. Later I went back to get more and they didn't have them anymore. One of the workers told me the ones to catch mice are good for spiders too, so thats what I got. They are called CATCHMASTER...insect glue trap.

Wonder where they come from? Seems like I have seen more since hot weather. They are probably coming from the outside to the oool. I just don't know how they get inside. I have a big fear of them.

Be sure and shake out any clothes that get piled on the floor. I've had two friends bitten because they picked up and put on jeans that had been left there.(they were college kids, by the way)

pleae everyone becareful they are very bad this year, probaly because we didn't have a bad winter last year,a friend of mine husband got bit a back bout month age it left a rotten spot in his leg the size of a coke can, and you could stick your finger half way deep in it, it has been very gross, the spotted would run green slimy puss, the doctors kept giving him antibotics, but they never really helped, it is just now trying to heal, but it's going to leave a deep dent in his leg, so do what ever you can to get rid of them, look up on bing pics of what their bite can due it's awful
