Let the State Police govern the state highways and The Local Police patrol and maintain safety in our muncipality....If it is too boreing to work for our city then go work for the State...But stay away from making a speed trap out of Lavonia Just to have something to do... Maybe there are too many Officers working for the City Now!

I think the Chief and his officers have one of the most professionally run, and staffed Police Departments in our area. I am a Hartwell resident. There is no comparison
Lavonia Officers always look sharp and so does their equipment. I believe the level of training they receive(to be such a small dept.) says a lot about the leadership of Chief Shirley They seem to always looking to get better to me. Hey but who am I to say. only 34 years on the road and in the woods
Let's pray for all our Peace Officers and Our Troops in the Field..........cdg

Daily Horoscope for November 11

Sagittarius

Work and reputation remain the focus, but tension from yesterday should begin to abate. Your business associations take on a friendlier tone as the Moon and Venus join forces, so offer the olive branch to someone you normally disagree with. You'll enjoy your public life today whether you are a CEO or a homemaker, so get out and smile at someone. You'll be amazed at the response.
