In the news they said that him and his friends were walking on the ice covered lake when he fell through and drowned.I do feel sad that he died, but i dont think they should 'outlaw ice covered lakes' because HE is the one walking on A FROZEN LAKE!

Yes, but do you not seeeeeee?

Anything which is perceived of as being dangerous must by outlawed!

Knives should be outlawed because they cut, and slash, and stab, and slice and dice, and KILL!!!

Same way with automotive contrivances, because those run over people, slam them to the ground and grind them into the pavement, breaking bones and trap others inside of them whilst they are crushed to death and burn and all kinds of mean and nasty things!

And then there's gunz, which just up and start shooting people and things, all by themselves, sending bullets in every direction!!!

And MY GAWD: Bows and arrows!! The ABSOLUTE TERROR OF THE HUNTED!!!

And then there's water with it's terrible ways of turning solid or into a gas even!!!

So, you keep this in mind: IT'S ALL ABOUT SAFETY!!!

THE ONLY 'SAFE PERSON' IS A =DEAD= PERSON!

EVERYONE ELSE IS IN =EXTREME DANGER= OF DYING!!!

Man, I can't believe it took you more than a year and a half to learn this if he was a close friend.

Yeah but he was the one stupid enough to think he could walk over a frozen lake. Its not like the lake was trying to kill him, infact, its was probably suicide. And anyways, knives dont kill unless the person holding it is thinking about it.

No, man, you're dead wrong!

According to the antis, knives —just as with gunz— have minds of their own!

If you even touch one, why they will use their MAGICAL POWERS to hypnotize you, and then make you do all sorts of mean and nasty things!!

Even the ice on the lake had MAGICAL POWERS!

ICE NEEDS TO BE OUTLAWED!!!

Hey, it isnt a laughing matter. Saw it happen, and it was scary. A guy falls through ice and drowns/freezes to death. That is one of the worst ways to go that i can think of. Please respect the dead.

Is it sad? Yes.

Was it unnecessary? Absolutely.

Why did it happen? STUPIDITY.

The whole point of many of the remarks here was just this: Every time something as such happens, the liberal hanky-wringing brigade blasts itself into orbit and makes endless proclamations about how such things would not happened IF ... And then they launch into a tirade about how outlawing 'this' or banning 'that,' or highly regulating 'another thing' is somehow going to stop the stupidity from happening.

THEY won't be happen until everyone is wearing full-body bullet-proof vestments, crash helmets, self-inflating flotation devices, crush-proof boots, and robotic attendants to help pick you up when you keel over from the overburden of excess weight caused by lack of freedom of movement.

Yes, and let's outlaw all bodies of water while we're at it ...
