Why do ya'll think that Randy is not huiman? We all make mistakes, just most of us do not get reported in the hews....

You are right John Barker but I wish Randy would own up to being an alcohlic and get treatment in a rehab center. He still denies that he is an alcoholic and says he can quit anytime he wants to. Only problem is he doesn't want to. His marriage broke up on account of it and his singing career hit the skids because of it. His comeback Gospel album done pretty well but he was still drinking the whole time. The last tour he was on he stayed drunk and his tour band couldn't stand to be around him because he would fly off and act like a dam fool at any little thing he didn't like. Yes, we all make mistakes John Barker. We all are sinners. Maybe we ain't got the right to judge Randy for drinking his life away but it might be a sin to let him kill himself with alcohol.

A lot of people don't understand when someone is gay and they think it is a bad thing. They say it is not natural for a human. It don't matter if you are a boy who wants to kiss and do sexual stuff with other boys or not. Everybody knows he done stuff with both girls and boys coming up. That ain't no big secret but it don't make him any more or less of a human being than anybody else.

IF Randy is gay, its news to me and lots of others who used to be around him a lot. He always got the girls back then.NEVER gave any impression that he might be abnormal.

I don't believe it for one minute. People always want to kick somebody when they are down. Also Randy doesn't have any relatives by the name of Bobby Jean that I know of.

You are right luvnut, sad to say. I'm sure life with Harold and those boys constantly getting in trouble wasn't easy for Bobbi. I told the story on here of Randy stealing my bicycle about a year ago. I knew him pretty well. He isn't gay. In fact, I think he and Floyd Austin beat up a gay man behind the old Hilltop one night. That was gossip back then so I can't say for sure that it happened. Those boys would find where Harold would stash his booze and drink it. Harold would come after them and sometimes he would catch them and beat the crap out of them. Nowadays it would be child abuse. Back then it was punishment.

I don't doubt for one second that Randy is an alcoholic. It runs in his family and he acts just like Harold. I guess we see things in adults when we are kids and think that's the way we are supposed to act. Damn shame.

As the saying goes "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree" that seems to be the case with Randy.

Hahaha I said I told the story of Randy stealing my bicycle about a year ago. It was over 50 years ago but I told the story on here a little over a year ago.

To make a long story short Randy's old bike had a broken chain so he "borrowed" mine to visit a gal that lived almost in Peachland. Several people saw him riding it. He was about 13 or 14 at the time. On the way back he had a flat tire and left my almost brand new bike in a side ditch. When Daddy got home he went and had a talk with Harold who went out looking for Randy. He found him and brought my bike back. Randy told me his daddy took a big belt to him for it.

No, not hitting the bottle. I get dates and stuff confused because of a little problem I have. I'm sorry, now I've confused the people reading my story. Well anyhow he didn't tear it up. That Pierce girl that he went to see lived about 500 feet from the Peachland town limits. She had 2 good looking older sisters and they were rounders. Both of them got pregnant and married off before they were 16. One of them still lives in the old house with husband number 4 or 5 and he is about 60 years old (hope I'm right on that). She's got great-grand youngins! The younger girl that Randy liked was pretty but real quiet. She married a preacher and moved off somewhere. I don't think she wants anything to do with her sisters. Now their daddy, Old Jack Pierce, folks around here always said, he made the best corn lickker anywhere around. I bet he weighed 450. He was shaped like a pot belly stove, all stomach and butt and it was soft looking fat. He didn't have much muscle I don't think. He drove an old International pickup and he was so big they had to cut the seat down for him to set up behind the wheel. Old Jack Pierce, yes sir he was a big fella. I never could see what Randy saw in that little Pierce girl. She was a thin little thing, no womanly shape at all. I recon being the youngest and the runt of the litter she didn't get much to eat.
