Train Blows Horn Too Long

This crazy train has me up all night lately! No two train conductors / engineers use the whistle the same way twice. One time it will be a couple of quick bursts just at the intersections then the next train blasts the horn from one end of Fordland to the other! Don't get me wrong I do believe the horn saves lives, I just want there to be a universal system that keeps the horn blasts the same no matter who's behind the "wheel".

All train conductors are required to give horn bursts in a certain order (long long short long) when they approach an intersection. Since there are three intersections within a short distance of each other in Fordland it may seem like they just lay on the horn all the way through town.

Is it that you are not able to read or is it you are unable to comprehend what you read? Because if you had you would know that the conductors do not follow any type of system at all. One guy will not blow the whistle at all, as in what happened last night several times as trains past in the night or we will have some who hold the whistle down before they get to the city limits and keep it held down the entire time until they have passed the city. Then you have a very small group of conductors who seem to do it correctly with the bursts before the intersections as you had mentioned, but that is the minority by far. You seem to have replied with what they are supposed to do and did not listen to what actually is happening. I would be happy to add recording with a shot of my satellite tv menu for proof of time and date if needed.

You should lodge a complaint with Burlington Northern Santa Fe then.

Thank You FYI, If I have another night like that one I might. As of now they have been kinder to my ears. I have had good nights sleep since posting this.

I do want to say, I love the whistle and sounds of the train, I find them very soothing and relaxing. But as with anything it can be twisted to the point of annoyance and that is what happened that night. Otherwise the trains are our friends.

We have replaced so many menial workers with robots the idiots running trains days are numbered. We have self driving cars and kiosks replacing fast food employees, imagine a time when trains will be able to travel back and forth and only use the horn when needed? No flucks will be given to the cry babies that previously sat on their lazy azzes collecting a over inflated paycheck. Just like they gave no thought to any of us trying to sleep. Selfish useless basstards!

P.S.- know when I'm at work and find a railway employee or their family, they're gonna have a bad time ;>)

Guess maybe "some of them doit just cause they know its bothering someone" won't pay off?
