Get off the street

[Grrr]

Parents please talk to your kids and tell them to walk on the sidewalk and not in the middle of the street. I am so tired of waiting for them to move, or not move. When they do move they give me dirty looks and gestures and cuss me. These are teenagers that should know better. I see this happening to so many people, and I've seen a few kids almost get hit by a car. Its almost summer and its only going to get worse.

I agree with Grr. On several occasions I have seen people walk from one side of the road to the center of the road and then instead of crossing all the way to the sidewalk. They walk straight down the center of the road and you have to pretty much park and wait until they decide to get out of the road. This last time it was winter with snow but I looked over and the sidewalk was completely clear of snow. There was no reason but stupidity for not crossing over to the sidewalk. Also there have been numerous occasions that a car wil be dead stopped and parked in the road with this time I counted 5 people hanging around the car on both sides talking, and we waited for a good 7 to 8 minutes before the car moved on down the road and another 4 to 5 minutes for the people to clear off the road. I understand watching for pedestrians, but this is uncalled for. And is being done on purpose.
