That was very mean. Thoughts and prayers with the family. Sorry to hear that it ended this way.

To the family of Courtney Cook...we will be praying for your family. I know this must be a very hard time for you right now. I am glad that you have closure though. May God be with you thru this time.

I am so sorry to hear that this was Courtney. I've been praying for the family since her story hit the air waves in January. Monday morning, I prayed that God would prepare the hearts of the family for whatever and whenever the news was. I'm glad God lays things on our hearts to pray and I'm thankful I was obedient. Who knew the news would come by then end of the day?

Tom, Linda, Hillary and Heather...you continue to be in my prayers. May God give you strength to carry you through these next days, weeks and months, and may His peace overwhelm you. You are loved and the public supports you.

I'm thankful that this family can begin healing now. Courtney is safe in Heaven now, nothing more can ever hurt her again on this earth.

May God grant the family healing and closure to know that Courtney is in a better place.

The fact that someone would comment on the picture instead of the tragedy at hand is ridiculous...

I'm saddened by this tragedy that has affected my community, but I'm also grateful that the family can begin to heal.

Kathy, that was beautifully said. You recapped everything I was thinking for this family.

God has took Courtney home. She is now safe with him and his angels. May the family of Courtney know that they will see her again. She is no longer missing but with God.

I know that these words may not help right now...but my prayers are with them.

Truly sad story. At least there is closure, though not how one would normally prefer it.

As for Jeremy.... yeah, that's one of the nicest things he's said.

Just saying... The family couldn't have found a better picture of her? This one make her look like she just won a prize fight.

I'm sorry her life ended the way it did. It really is too bad.

As someone who lives here in Marshall, I would like to say that as a community that has been dealing with 2 high profile disappearances, we are glad to finally have closure to this case. We all pray for the Courtney's family and stay assued that God will see them through this terrible time. We also continue to pray for the family of Mary Lands.

As a matter of fact, the family did release several pictures of Courtney, but several news agaenices haven chose to only print this one. The Battle Creek Enquirer has others, but not sure if they still have them posted on their website.

Has anyone heard of funeral arrangements for Courtney? I knew the family years ago and would like to attend if possible.
