It was on election night - Feb. 7, 2006 - when City Attorney James F. Penman extended an offer of peace to Judge Pat Morris at the close of a tough campaign.

However, after listening to Penman’s 20 minute response to their criticism, he sounded like Pharaoh when Moses went to free the Israelites. His heart got harder. Instead of Penman apologizing and moving on, he rationalized why he was right in what he did. It was a great day in the history of the city to see the Faith based community come together in support of justice and good government. And for you Mr. Penman you don’t mess with the anointed.

This needs to be known when people come to these blogs looking to see what people are saying on the INTERWEB...

1. Penman is trying to destroy the redevelopments efforts to finish the Arden Guthrie/ 19th and Sunrise location by misinforming the public. Claiming that MORE low income residents will be moving to a location already occupied by low income residents. There is a net loss of residents moving to the location that he claims will increase if Morris is re-elected.

2. The only other time he felt compelled to "inform" the public was his wild accusations about a church.

3. He also took on a lawsuit that cost city tax payers $700,000 and Flesh club is still open. That stuff will also follow Penman to office. There are more reasons to remove this guy from the office he has then to vote him into office.

Here is the same question I would ask Penman supporters:

What is Penman going to do that is different than Mayor Morris?

The problem is the answers responded here typically include misinformation. When Morris supporters respond to their answers Penman advocates get angry and irrational claiming that Mark is making comments as another name, or calling me a Wacko, carpet bagger, ambulance chaser, whatever instead of addressing the issues involved with this election.
