This is the town where my father,Bernerd Jones, was born.(May he rest in peace). When I think of Marseilles I think of my beloved grandfather, Charles Jones.(May he rest in peace)

My favorite part of visiting Marseilles was the park....(besides Freedom Run) . My sons enjoyed exploring the park and just relaxing . I will truly miss not being able to have the park to go and enjoy .

This town is where my mother was raised and married my dad. My uncle donated the lions at the library. I love going back to see some of the sites I remember from childhood

Its been many years since I lived in Marseilles. I totally agree with you about it being quaint. The town I live in now is small like Marseilles. I think as you get older you are able to appreciate and see the beauty in small town living. My adult children live in the city. All I can say is "thanks but no thanks"! Most of my family is gone from there;Gilbertson, Hubbards. I still have two uncles that live there.I think about Marseilles often and hope to go back and walk down memory lane some day. Its true, Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

My fondest memories of Marseilles would have to be spending the summer swimming in the pool and fishing in the river. I haven't visited in some time, but the memories are sweet.

Well I was able to enjoy staying at the park this past weekend . I enjoyed my time . The people in the park were great . Its a shame it's still closing.
