The recent raids on the three Outlaws clubhouses produced next to nothing in an effort of the Feds to justify they're HUGE budgets. These ar your tax dollars at work. The Outlaws I know (and I know quite a few) are men who enjoy riding motorcycles. As for the criminal element- you'll always have a few. You have that with ANY organization, not only motorcycle clubs, but police as well as other "clubs".

OUTLAWS ??? Not the joliet outlaws ? My bro was one of them and when he was killed by a drunk driver in 1976 it was the outlaws that came to his funeral and offered to pay for the funeral and got us everything we ever needed -as they take care of their own. They rode their bikes (motorcycles) to Oglesby and yes they were well behaved and not like you think --- Drugs in their possesion ? NOT !!!!! the police need to pay attention to the real crooks and sex offenders. I thank God that they were there for us and still to this day still are.Hurray for the outlaws and if you dont understand them you dont know them. They arent all bad --

I am willing to bet the majority of people writing on this board are Outlaws hoping something can be done to salvage their image. They have the image they do because they created it.
The violence, and narcotics trafficking is root of their wealth and their attempt to improve thier image is only an attempt to distract from their illegal activities.
they threaten and harrass other clubs in an attempt to be exclusive and lay claim of turf to cities.
I applaud the truly American forefathers of MC's. Patriotic veterans who looked for recognition of their service and their right to live the life they wanted to live.
The perversion of that sacred accomplishment into the drug running gun selling violent deviance thet they are now is detrimental to all of us that board two wheels.

Hi Everyone! Just a comment here... So, the "Outlaws" supposeably have been seen in LaSalle County - this still is a free country isn't it?! I am sure that "Outlaws" are not here posting comments to try to fix up their image - they don't care what you think about them anyway -they live their own lives their own way. People, life is way too short - everyone should just go about their own business and stay out of everyone elses! I am positive we can ALL agree to that.

Hey rocketrider,I saw that same history channel show. You should learn what your talking about before you post. The original conflict was between the Outlaws and the angels. It later evolved as other smaller M.C.s began henching for the angels such as the, warlocks. And they were also founded by vets in 35"If you wanna be a 1%er,be a 1%er.

How could you say that they are detrimental to every one that rides. They do what they do and you do what you do.Nobody thinks that all riders are outlaws. If you choose that life style then you should know what your choosing.Do you really believe that they hold that much influence over the community. And what clubs are they harrassing, yours?Who the hell would search the internet for forums to try to influence people into likeing them or there club. You sound like you may be a paranoid schizophrenic.Who gives a shit if they dont get along with other clubs. You sound like an old lady.Sissy!!!

I happen to personally know quite a few Outlaws among other member of clubs such as the Scorpions and the Irondogs. "rocketrider" sounds like just another punk on a foreign made piece of garbage. The original members, ex military men of WW2, were looking for action back in the states. They rode American bikes because they were proud of their country and proud to be Americans. I can personally say that my life is much better having known, and still know, many "clubbers". I have personally riiden with many of these men and would do so again in a heart beat. Some of the best men I have ever known have worn a patch. Dont bad mouth something you don't understand. If you have a problem with it come on over to the east side and you can tell these guys to their faces.

My father is one of the founding fathers of the Joliet outlaws. What I can add for anyone still reading this forum is that no Outlaw I ever met/ knew became rich or wealthy off violence or narcotics. Growing up we were barely able to make ends meet. My dad's brothers (the club) are his life to the exclusion of his own family and children. (Two failed marriages and children sprinkled all over the country to prove it.) My father was a brilliant man (as evidenced by his extremely high IQ)but did nothing with it. He is old, he is broke but by God he still has his brothers. And as for what other people think about him or his lifestyle he could really careless. If you are not his brother you don't exist.

Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs (OMGs) are organizations whose members use their motorcycle clubs as conduits for criminal enterprises. OMGs are highly structured criminal organizations whose members engage in criminal activities such as violent crime, weapons trafficking, and drug trafficking. There are more than 300 active OMGs within the United States, ranging in size from single chapters with five or six members to hundreds of chapters with thousands of members worldwide. The Hells Angels, Mongols, Bandidos, Outlaws, and Sons of Silence pose a serious national domestic threat and conduct the majority of criminal activity linked to OMGs, especially activity relating to drug-trafficking and, more specifically, to cross-border drug smuggling. Because of their transnational scope, these OMGs are able to coordinate drug smuggling operations in partnership with major international drug-trafficking organizations (DTOs).
The Outlaws Motorcycle Club (Outlaws) have more than 1,700 members who belong to 176 chapters in the U.S. and in 12 foreign countries. U.S. law enforcement authorities estimate that the Outlaws have more than 86 chapters in 20 states with over 700 members. The Outlaws also identify themselves as the A.O.A.(American Outlaws Association) and the Outlaws Nation. The Outlaws are the dominant OMG in the Great Lakes region. The Outlaws are involved in the production, transportation and distribution of methamphetamine, the transportation and distribution of cocaine, marijuana and, to a lesser extent, ecstasy. The Outlaws engage in various criminal activities including arson, assault, explosives, extortion, fraud, homicide, intimidation, kidnapping, money laundering, prostitution, robbery, theft and weapons violations. The Outlaws compete with the Hells Angels for both members and territory
