So do alot of women in Baton Rouge! Too bad, north LA didn't know his appetite for women before voting for him! He makes David Vitter look like a saint!

Why would you make something like that up? Jay Dardenne is known to be among the, if not the most honest among our public servants. Further, there has never been such a rumor about his personal life. We would be lucky to have him as Governor.

how early do i have to get up to vote for such an honest man? governor, lets go all the way. i am sure he would be in a class all by himself, especially here in la. if he can string three sentences together he has my vote. so is the election today or tomorrow, next week, 2 years from now.... 3 years from now....... is it over?

Did not make it up. Worked at capitol for 35 years. My wife too. As I said, it is not something North LA would be aware of. I know two of the women...one is Mary, the other is Pamela!

I have known Jay Dardenne since he was elected to the state senate in 1987, but I never heard of him being a ladies man. You have the creds, so I'll take your word for it. Bill Clinton was the best U. S. President in my lifetime (in my humble opinion) so I still maintain Jay has been among the cream of the crop in his public service career. The Bible thumpers in North Louisiana might be hypocrites, but I don't think allegations of his philandering would have necessarily steered their votes away from Dardenne. Look at how they voted last time Edwin Edwards ran for governor.

I appreciate and respect your opinion. Nothing I have said, was made up. It is indeed fact. Sure it didn't seem to make it to the press prior to his last election, but if the time comes when he wants to run for governor....the powers that be at the Washington Post will be all over him. Being from LA, I understand that Edwin, Dardenne, Vitter, etc., seem to not be held to the same scrunity as other politicians, in other states. It just irks me that Dardenne tries to portray himself as a family man while his poor wife lives with this pain.

At least Edwin Edwards had the balls to admit he was a CROOK and a CHEAT.

Honesty.....Baton Rouge style.
Nice.

True words have never been spoken.

A couple of days before the Dardenne election was to be over, one woman was called....and, told if she spoke ...that everything would go public...now, if that isn't harrassment, I don't know what is......let him run for governor....all of it will come out!

You positively have that right! Often wondered why people kept voting for EE after he continued to opening admit when he was asked if he had done something illegal. I guess most appreciated his "honest" responses. His style was very unique.

When Billy Nungesser runs against him, I am sure Billy will beat him. Billy has done a wonderful job for Plaquemine Parish, and he will have the good down to earth personality that suits both the north and south Louisianians.

Edwin Edwards did not have any Balls. What he had was ignorance and an inflated false sense of being untouchable. Does anyone think he even had the slightest clue that he could possibly go to prison?
It's kinda like touching a hot pot three more times after you have gotten burnt. It's just plain dumb.

I can go along with that. As long as it is not Dardenne.
