At the holiday season I want to give thanks to Jon Weidle and the City Council that has worked so very hard.
There has only been 4 different administrators in the past 7 years. I think that is pretty good.
Yeah my taxes went up but at least my property value went down...so thats pretty good ,right?
Who cares if the population went down because unemployment and foreclosures in Princeton are a record high.
And I feel much safer seeing Matt Bargenquast driving in his new car. So what if we gave up Fire and paramedics to keep him happy. With a huge elderly population we really didn't need fire and ambulance anyway.
Yes, John Weidle and the City Council are taking this city the right direction. Nice job everyone and Happy Holidays!

Yeah, and where are the cute fat Wisconsin babes in Princeton? No where that's where.

My taxes went up too. Funny thing though, the public school and the county were the ones that raised them. Maybe so the school can pay for the new uniforms they'll have to buy since the Tigers are dead now, and they county can pay for the wonderful jail we needed so much. If I am reading my tax bill correctly, the city lowered taxes just a wee bit. Also, if I am not mistaken, we still have a fire department.....and I still see ambulances here also. I see the older police car at Mike's quite a bit too.....God forbid the city actually replace a broken car once in a while. The fire department that you say is gone has a couple of nice newer trucks too.

No matter what anyone says Garro and Really are my heros.
Yes taxes went up but it is not Johns fault. It is never his blame for anything that is not good.
We won't talk about property values that keep declining.Or the record amount of foreclosures. Or the dwindling population.Really and I love to spin any problems and make it everybody elses fault except for our friends in charge of improving the City.

Why would anyone blame John for anything? He's super intelligent, drives an economical car (unlike most of "ya'll), so he doesn't have an "inferiority complex", is clean-cut, educated, does what's right- even when it's not popular, and is so very obviously a Democrat.
I say leave John alone, let him do his job, and Princeton might change dramatically for the better....but, if he decides to jump ship and go to a real city...can you really blame him? I can't.

Just like Obama, John inherited this mess...so we should really cut him a break.

I have looked at this community message boards from time to time and talked with some old friends from Wisconsin and it does appear your City suffers from a lack of leadership.
I would be so quick to judge your City Administrator. Often a City Administrator is just a tool to execute the wishes of the elected officials. If these officials are weak....then your administrator can try to straighten them out...but that is easier said then done.
