Wisconsin Symphonic Winds: Something old, something new, borrowed and blue
#1 Jun 22, 2013
Just wanted to say we were in the area last weekend for Fathers Day. We went to Zobel Park and I couldn't believe the amount of dead grass left after mowing. We couldn't walk anywhere without collecting grass on our shoes. I decided to try somewhere else for a picnic. We ended up at Twin Lake park. It was not any better as there was dead grass all over and when going into the restroom, I noticed the floor looked as it has not been painted in years. We haven't been in the area in about 5 years and after this experience it could be our last visit. I'm not sure who is in charge but they could use a lesson in proper care of your taxpayers and visitors beautiful parks.
