Janie Hicks claims that we were fostering Buddy, but why is it that we never signed any foster forms or any other kind of forms to that effect. Nor did we sign surrender forms, so what would make the Forrest City Area Humane Society think Buddie (Buddy) was theirs? Because they paid for his neutering? We actually offered to give Janie Hicks the money for the procedure, but she refused. However, it is my understanding from an attorney that this is suppose to be complementary. And, if paying for the neutering gave the FCAHS ownership of a dog, theen they would probably own most of the dogs in Forrest City.

My new vet states that they are not affiliated with the local humane society, which is the way it should be. I think you have to wonder why a vet would be affiliated with a local humane society anyway. Could it be all about the money?

Don't know what this is all about, but I can tell you that a lot of rescues work very closely with their local Vets. I don't see anything wrong with this.

It wrong if a vet copies an individuals vet records and then gives them to the humane society, without the individuals knowledge or permission. And, then the dog is stolen as a result of that. In my opinion that vet aided the humane society in the theft of the dog. I am not saying there is anything wrong with vets and rescues working together, it is only when the affiliation is used for the wrong purpose.
