BCS has a bunch of liberals in it...... ND is no longer a real Catholic school as the liberals worked at changing policies there too......

WTF is that supposed to mean? Cornerstone is a Baptist college but I know Catholics who go there as students, even though Cornerstone won't hire Catholics to mop the halls.

You are exactly right. ND just likes the Catholic affiliation because it helps them raise big $$$ for their so-called "storied program." They love their allegedly Catholic identity for football, but when it comes to standing up for the Catholic faith, they are cowards. They give awards to pro-abortionists like Obama, and they support gay marriage and many other things that are contrary to the teachings of the Catholic faith.

If ND was in the Big 10 they woulda have been 3rd or so. Probably 4th or 5th in the Pac-12 and 5th or 6th in the SEC.

I think of Hawaii that was undefeated and thought they should be #1 then played Georgia and got the **** kicked out of them in the bowl game.

Very overrated and if they start the pre-season in the Top 10, things are really messed up.

The Big Ten is a complete joke. ND would have finished first. They beat Purdue, A horrible Michigan State team and Michigan.

They would have been trashed by Ohio State. If they played Penn State in the first few games, ND would have won. If they played them later on, they would have lost. And depending on how Wisconsin was playing ND could have lost to them as well.

The best team they beat in the Big 10 was Michigan (8-5) and they only managed one touchdown against a very mediocre defense.

Lots of predictions that mean nothing and make no case of ND not belonging in the championship game. As far as the Big Ten goes they have had 1 representative in the big game since the new system was put in place in 1998. The SEC on the other hand has had 5 and has 9 championships. No one outside if the Midwest sees the Big Ten as a force with the exception of Ohio State and none of their games mattered this year.
