OK, since you want to bring me into one of your self-absorbed rants, I'm going to try and reign this thread back to the IMPORTANT subject matter than compelled me to take my time to post in the first place.
So, how do you feel about this latest revelation that Obamacare will be unaffordable to the very people Obama and the democrats promised this bill was all about?
It's up to you; either you are interested in discussing relevant current events, or you just come here to stir up trouble:
I'm waiting to see how they're going to spin this or find a way to blame it on Bush.

Following JimBob's path are you? You attack all the time. I am just calling a spade for spade when I see it. I don't attack like you or Jimbob, and many others on these forums. You just don't see it for what it is.

<quoted text>Attacking, yet again, Sassy? You are real fond of telling people to grow up. Methinks it's past time for you to do some growing up and quit trolling and attacking others because you don't like them.

All you do is attack. Odd, though, the attacking is only against Jim and I. Wonder why that is? Could it be that you need to grow up yourself and see yourself for the hypocrite you really are?

The whole thing about this is, they should go after the insurence, lawyers and hospitals.

But no as usual, the dem's who help the poor (lol) make the collective pay for it and punish the people.

The head line should actually read "Obamacare Unaffordable For Everyone" but hey its the LAW! right! and we must follow the law and be good little followers and never disobey because its the LAW!!

Just waiting for the law of unintended consequences to kick in which it will. Just like zero tolerance laws.

This law is tyranny it at its utmost and will take over every aspect of your life. Of course that was is and always will be the plan of the arrogant high minded politicians who think that they are our nobles who have wealth and title over the lands and the people. They don't work for us anymore they are ruling and it wont be long before the iron fist will crash down and it will all go back to healthcare. Fundamental Transformation he did it just like he said he would....

Well said, Shoeless!

The very first thing that should happen is a vote by the people that states without exception that every single government employee and elected official MUST abide by the same health care laws that they've foisted upon their employers, the taxpaying American citizens.

For those of you who defend Obamacare, tell us, if it were such a necessary and effective revamp of our health care system, why did those that authored and voted for it refuse to sign on themselves??

If that vote were to take place you can bet your Obama phones congress would repeal that law without hesitation.

I'll wait for any liberal to explain why it's acceptable for our government to foist a law forcing us to purchase a product that they themselves refuse to.

It already is. Employers are cutting hours for their workers to avoid having to provide insurance for them. That'll really speed up the economic recovery, won't it?

Obama's spin doctors are currently working on defending the NSA and Africa tour. Talking points for Obamacare will have to wait. In the meantime they'll pretend none of this exists.

Did you hear Obama's latest defense of the NSA? He's claiming it's transparent.

http://news.yahoo.com/obama-nsa-secret-data-g...

So in Obama speak secret data gathering is transparent. I guess that's what he meant on the campaign trail.

WASHINGTON (AP) It's called the Affordable Care Act, but President Barack Obama's health care law may turn out to be unaffordable for many low-wage workers, including employees at big chain restaurants, retail stores and hotels.
That might seem strange since the law requires medium-sized and large employers to offer "affordable" coverage or face fines...
Some supporters of the law are disappointed. It smacks of today's Catch-22 insurance rules.
"Some people may not gain the benefit of affordable employer coverage," acknowledged Ron Pollack, president of Families USA, a liberal advocacy group leading efforts to get uninsured people signed up for coverage next year.
"It is an imperfection in the new law," Pollack added. "The new law is a big step in the right direction, but it is not perfect, and it will require future improvements."
It's not exactly the picture the administration has painted. The president portrays his health care law as economic relief for struggling workers.
.......
So, we have a solution for poor people that is too expensive for poor people, a promise of coverage for EVERYONE that some won't be insured, and a vow that we'll be able to keep our current physician that we won't be able to keep our physician.
Low wage workers qualify for medicare insurance. Your upset because you wont be able to go to the emergency room and bill the tax payers. You and that article are so full of bullcrapola.

That would be Medicaid, or ignorant one. Medicare is for those over age 65 and is not based on income.

The taxpayers will still get billed and a great deal more than just covering ER visits. Now we get to subsidize the insurance premiums for those that can't afford it, but they still can't really afford it since they have to pay for their premiums and then get their subsidy back via tax refunds the next year. DOesn't that just give you a warm, fuzzy feeling inside?
It won't take folks long to figure out that their penalty is a heck of a lot cheaper than their premiums and then guess what? We'll be back to dealing with people getting their care in the ER without any coverage AND we get to subsidize premiums for the rest.
Bend over, baby, and thank Uncle Sam for what you get.

Don't forget about the fact that there are doctors who will refuse to take certain insurances and if you are on that plan you won't be able to go to your doctor for covered visits, and depending on your plan, won't be able to switch to another doctor that will take your insurance either. Most of them will end up back into the ER as their primary care.... again.

Medicaid Elephant. I'm sure you meant that and I agree with your comment otherwise. Made me smile when the big mouth Lil Stinker jumped on it though. Comical to see clowns like stinker jump on occasional typos or misspellings when weirdos - Rob in particular or Rob's bastard cousin Bitchboy - can't put a coherent sentence together without major grammatical or blatant spelling errors throughout. You have to wonder what they'd do without a keyboard or the internet.
