I hear that the company is now going to be called L & Co. so Terri's last name isn't part of the company name. Must be time for her to run for office again soon.

York Creek is infested with criminals, and Woodfield Estates is just a huge ghetto. These apartments are dangerous and should be condemned and the residents should be evicted.

Woodfield Estates residents also make very good use of their own free medical service which makes many house calls 24/7.

It's called the Cutlerville Fire department.

She is a disaster, and her apartments are not only an eyesore, they destroy our property values and attract dangerous thugs and criminals.

Is Paul Land dead? Terri Lynn learned from her dad. He made a living by going into decent neighborhoods and using relatives who served on the planning boards to get rezoning so he could put up 'mobile home' parks . He would swoop in, establish the park then soon sell out at a financial gain. All the promises he made to the citizens of the townships he met with were null and void when he sold. Something he intended to do all along. The Lands are all slum lords.

The results of their "developments" speak for themselves. Just watch the news any evening or look at the police reports. Up in the Alpine area, most of the crime can be traced back to York Creek. In Kentwood, it's the Woodfield apartment complex.

Also, take a look at these properties sometime (well, maybe not, if you value your own life and property.) They are run down, poorly maintained, and filled with junk vehicles and hoodlums walking around day and night. It's both frightening and pathetic at the same time.

It's just shameful and a disgrace.

Agree! I once accidentally ended up in the York Creek area after shopping in the area. There were thugs everywhere. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. The folks who live in that complex also shop at Walmart on Alpine. The crime rate around there has gone up, also. Purse snatchings in the parking lot, etc.

Care to quote me the law that allows landlords to refuse to rent to tenants on the basis that they think they might be of low moral character?
Care to guess how long it would take for a lawsuit to be filed if said prospective tenant happened to also be a minority?
Oh.

Still waiting to hear when Paul Land died...that's news to me. Especially since he's still listed as the President of Land and Co.(or L and Co.). Funny how the person who posted that hasn't been back to answer the question.

Yeah...those nasty scummy poor people should all be rounded up and sent to a reservation like we did with the indians. We need trailer park reservations for their kind! How dare they try to find an affordable place to live in YOUR neighborhood! Round em all up and ship em all out! Property values above humanity, right?

Oh.
Of course there a no laws advocating discrimination. However to allow rental property to fall in disrepair which in turn lowers property values and attracts the less than desirable to the area. As for low moral character that quite often involves a public record on the police blotter. Are you saying that if you own rental property you MUST by law rent to anyone and everyone that applies and allow them to trash the joint anyway they wish?

Well, believe it or not there are class distinctions in our society. There are tony neighborhoods and not so tony neighborhoods. All of us must live with that. I'm saying that Paul Land deliberately went into neighborhoods where he had placed his relatives on a zoning board or planning commission and proceeded to underhandedly try to get property rezoned to fit his greedy needs. He knew he was going to get opposition so he did this quietly. One park he wanted to develop was to be right next to two other parks on the Kent/Ottawa border, making a little community with population the size of the city of Sparta in a small area. The citizens were able to delay his project for 15 years when he finally won a state judgement. He's a selfish, greedy creep dead or alive.
