By all means my entire life that overly large nosed lady seems to be one of the snootiest people I have ever seen on my television.

By the way she hates to be called Suzy...just watch her face when they call her that.

A friend of mines wife worked for Bell Telephone about 15 years ago. I'll never forget her telling me that Suzanne Geha called them up and was asking if she could be excused from paying for the service because she was a television personality. The employees all got a good laugh out of that one.

Oh, I must reveal. Once I talked with an employee at Home Depot on 28th street in Cascade and they had said that Suzanne Geha was in there that morning buying a washer or something like that. The employees said that she was ordering them around worse than the boss themselves. They said..you'd think she was the president of the company with how bossy she was to them. So maybe you are right about her being snooty.

My son works at a resturant there, and waited on "Suzy" G. He said she was one of the worst customers he has ever waited on.

OK, enough already. This is rubbish. All you seem to post is second hand information that is not true. She seems passionate about the news. You are just jealous that you have no class. This crap goes on at WZZM as well. Get a life!

Not sure if Woodtv8 uses Suzanne Geha's husband's production company or not. But with all his accomplishments and diversified clientele, you'd think he would be a very wealthy man by now. Maybe Suzanne actually has more of a role at Woodtv8 than just a news anchor? Below is her husband's profile.

BS, Communication Arts & Sciences, 1975

has been producing and directing video and live productions for more than thirty years. He has worked with Fortune 500 companies, public and private institutions to communicate their message and market their products.

launched his career while at Western Michigan University. In 1971, he was disc jockey and program director at the student-run radio station, WIDR, where he formatted the station and staged live WIDR events in the city of Kalamazoo. While a full-time student, he was hired in 1972, by WKMI-AM in Kalamazoo as an on-air personality.

During his tenure at WMU, distinguished himself as one of the most outstanding television production students in the department. His senior production of “Goodbye Mr. Chimps” was used as a teaching tool for many years after he graduated. It is part of the university archives.

Before college, served honorably in the U.S. Army and used his GI Bill to attend WMU.

As technology in his industry evolved, established his own business and worked in every medium: film, video, cable, CD-Rom, DVD, live satellite. He was among the first to develop video news releases; he created an interactive computer bidding system for non-profit fund raising; large screen computerized walls for the office furniture industry; and blended live events with multi-media technology to maximize impact for grand openings of businesses, convention centers, and hospitals.
is involved in his community. He built and operated a restaurant in the historic Gaslight Village of East Grand Rapids. He serves on the board of the East Grand Rapids Recreation Department. He's past president of the East Grand Rapids Youth Development organization. He's a founding campaign cabinet member of Gilda's Club of Grand Rapids. He's coached baseball, soccer, and basketball. He teaches an adult bible class at St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church and sings in the choir.

is married and has two sons and two daughters.

Maybe Larry Nienhaus could go to Suzanne's husband and ask him for a job, or already has. Better hours, pay and wouldnt have to anchor anymore. I once asked Woodtv and they told me "Miranda" was not an employee of theirs. Maybe doing those live shows etc. she is actually an employee of Suzanne's husband's production company?

Who would over sensationalize the news every night? Friday the 5:30 broadcast started off with ten friggin minutes of drama regarding the weather. Uh, last I knew, it snowed here every winter, did it really need to be the top story?
I like to hear about the weather and the road conditions when it gets bad.

Without a doubt, get rid of her!

When ever she is on, I turn the channel. If I don't I'll loose my lunch.

Yes, I have caught her several times exaggerating the facts to sensationalize a story. Send her back to Detroit, maybe she will take Terry Hairbrain Deboring with her.

This is not second hand.

I used to work for a children's clothing store in Woodland mall. She would come in right at closing time and expect 2-3 people to wait on her, making us keep the store open just for her an extra 1/2 hour to an hour. We could not start cleaning the store or close the cash register receipts until she was gone. To me, this is just arrogant, selfish behavior. We did not get paid on commission, and most of us were tired from being on our feet for 6+ hours.

And what if someone else did this - someone who isn't a tv personality? Would you say they should be fired too? Or would you just chalk it up to them being an @sshole? There are arrogant people in every profession. But their arrogance does not relate to their professional life as long as they can turn it off. You can hate Geha all you want, and if you're calling for her to be fired, it should be because she can't read a telapromptor or because she consistantly reports false news. If you call for her dismissal because of the way she acts off air, than you're just being childish. Maybe you should be fired for giving that guy the finger on the expressway the other day, or maybe because you hung up on the phone soliciter.(Or whatever jerkish thing you've done recently.) So really, your little pissy anecdotes (first or secondhand) are irrelavant. It just makes you look like a crybaby.

Hey say what you want about her, she is not the most beautiful woman on TV, but she sure has a persence about her in person. I can see why she has gotten and kept that job all these long years. When she walks into a room she really does have a huge arua around her.

Today is the first day I have read this comment section, and I must say I am very disappointed in the lack of civility people have shown. Just because you are anonymous, doesn't mean you should act like ingrates. If in fact you treat everyone you don't care for, or disagree with like you have treated Ms. Geha on this message board, God help you. Has common decency gone out of style? What is wrong with you people? I would suggest anger management classes at the least, and extensive counseling is probably in order. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but why such venom? Someone please enlighten me. Thanks

"a huge aura around her"? LOL maybe a shower and some deoderant soap would help.
These " celebrities" should realize that reading lines off a paper or teleprompter does NOT make them special. I have known and met many. Some are decent friendly people. Many are arrogant a**holes.
Decent people= Kent McCord, Martin Milner :Adam-12, Burt Rutan= aviation pioneer, Tex Hill: Commander THE Flying Tigers, Gerald Ford: President of the United States, Harrison Ford, George Barris, Bruce Meyers auto designers. the Captain and Tenille especially Toni, musicians.
A**holes= Most of the original Apollo crews especially Neil Armstrong. Adam West, TV Batman. The Beach Boys particularly Mike Love.

Well, Slim, you wrote two very important sentences there:
1) This is the first time you've been here.
2) Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Before you start prescribing counseling, as if somehow that authority was yours, why don't you seek enlightenment on your own. Read more threads. Ask someone to explain their opinion. On this site there are many differences hashed out on a daily basis. To some it's just a way to vent. To others, sadly, it's all they have.
You'd be making a mistake to come into this forum assuming your opinion is the only one that matters.
