My dad was killed because of people's ignorance and the police's inability to do their job. I hope you think about what you caused and all the pain you have caused our family.

How awful...I am so sorry. What happened to the driver? What did the police do wrong?

We are in the process of still trying to figure out what happened. The police are just as responsible if not more than the people who ran him down. Thank you very much for your reply.

The police are responsible? In what way? If you're going to post a reply make it credible. Passing the blame and saying people are being ignorant and then blaming the police is uncalled for and irresponsible.

Could you please post some more information on what happened to your father? I am not familiar with the story. Was your father killed by a drunk driver? illegal alien? I am curious as to why you blame the police.~~Leona~~

if it is the fault of the pedestrian, then no charges should come to the driver.

your right all the way! the person that was driving was at fault. you should not be allowed to drive if you can`t see a person walking in the street. the excuse of no street light was sorry as hell. i could see if there was a car directly in front of you and your vision was blocked by them. leaving you no escape lane. but, thats one of the first lessons taught in drivers training. make sure theres a way out! but that was`nt the case this time. blaming the police was stupid! thats like blaming the fire dept for showing up to fight a fire! what an idiot! the driver should have his or her license taken away for good. this is`nt a game. it life or death, every time the car is put in drive starts a possible life or death situation. we`ve been taking driving for granted for far to long. god bless the police for coming to help when we need them! i`ll be praying for you if i ever need help!

it sounds like this family has spent some time! all the blame passing to the police? what an idiot! or should i say what a jailbird? the only time people don`t like the police is because they needed to be controled by an outside source. why? beacause they could`nt control there own actions! check the print out on the family, they spent time alright! if he was drunk, he was the only one to blame! his actions cause this! not the police!
