*Yawn*
"To be clear, the decision only lifts the restraining order. Judge Sullivan still has to decide on the wider question of whether the amendment is legal."

It's still against State and Federal law, so it's still ilegal.
It should never have been allowed on the ballot in the first place.
A city cannot make it's own laws that bypass state or federal laws.

Did'nt New York City, pass it's own law, banning large soda's above a certain size?.....I know, in many old west towns, they banned the wearing of sidearms(handguns) in city limits....I think it is done, more often than we would think.....

"He (the judge) also said the county prosecutor has no authority over the city and the laws it has on the books."

No one is saying it is legal Jimmy. No one. Pay attention K? I know it's not easy for you but double down on your ADD meds or something. It's still an infraction and you can still be forced to pay a fine. This is all about the severity of the punishment.

So now you're an expert on civil law? LOL! Well your expertise has failed you once again.

A city can and do. Ann Arbor has had a similar law on the books since 1972, brought on by the injustices done to a one John Sinclair.

There is another, quieter way to accomplish the same end.....at every police preshift lineup, the commanding officer announces that unless you really need to, because you've no other charge, and a suspect needs arrest....we don't arrest for anything less than an ounce, anymore......no press, it's done quietly.....

Pay attention folks. The progressives are suggesting civil disobedience because they dislike the law. Now, if one of us suggested that, guess what would happen??? Never mind, we know.

Kind of like a lot of LEOs have already announced they plan to do with any gun ban passed?

Why do you think it is small and petty to point out your willingness to disobey a law you disagree with while at the same time demanding everyone else obey the laws completely? Never mind, I know, I had the temerity to disagree with you. Whatever.

She points her fangs in my direction quite a bit. I have found that ignoring the angry old hag is the best option.

She's just tiresome, no wonder she's alone....Now, are we starting to finally think, our society is prepared to give marijuana the same legal status and taxation structure as alcohol and tobacco? Funneling the taxes back into education at the state level would be the path to take....

There is a fool born every second. Give a politician more money to piss away and it won't got education, that's a given. As for me being alone, how the heck do you know? Because I wouldn't tolerate your whiny little act? Funny little man.

But yet you continue to reply to her every post, with the same comments that you accuse her of,...go figure?

Blue does not reply to her every post. He is correct. That is why I never reply to aka "Sandy" any longer. She is nothing but a liar and degenerate. She says she posts links, but have yet to see one. She says she knows Pete Sechia and even had lunch with him. She says that Devos is out of the hotel business but has yet to prove it. All aka "Sandy" does is come on here to provoke.

Thanks...i was gonna point out, that i often ignore several on here....mainly to avoid these circular-type arguements that become tedious.....maybe the overall view on pot is changing, just because much of our society has'nt proven successful in prohibitions and wars on drugs? My point was, that the judge and law enforcement can do much, without the subject becoming another heated, divisive battle....kinda, working the system....
