yes i know marmaduke was a boom little town back in the day now its dead and nasty its a damn nurseing home with a zip code im tired of looking at the trash by the fire department the recycle bin is nice but there is only one and not all people use it the creek by the school is trashed because the city dumped trash,concrete,gas cans etc down there and the cops are rentals the school board is ran by a preach a good man in a way but we prayed in the school the first day we got there last year and thats illegal because for seperation of church and state and he was in on the old money fraud with the school what the hell i mean come on we need to stand up for our little shit hole

I have lived there my whole life and the only thing good I got out of that place is, well to tell you the truth NOTHING, that place is nothing but a bunch of snobs and crooks. You dont have money or be apart of the niches there you aren't anything in that town just sombody else to pay taxes there. My advise to all is LEAVE WHEN YOU GET THE CHANCE!!!!! Thats what I have done and havent looked back sense then and that was 6 years ago, just come back to visit friends thats it.

A town is only as good as the effort that the citizens put into it.
You have good citizens and bad citizens, but if it is your home then try to improve it.
Some people just want to live peacefully and have everyone leave them alone. Marmaduke is a good town, just like any other small town.
There are some very good folks who live here.
Marmaduke is close to paragould where there is lots to do yet a person doesn't have to live there in the city.
I live in Marmaduke and think it is a good place to be. Even though I wasn't raised here, I have good friends and meet many nice folks.
As far as Monica Cluck is concerned, she is the laughing stock of the town and probably won't be welcomed back into the towns society. For a grown woman she sure was an idiot.

I agree ctitic! Says alot about the educational system there. I also just love the people that want nothing more than to be accepted in the uppity click! Oweing their lives to places like Southern Bank for Shops buildings, Motorcycles, Furniture, and other nonesintials of life. Cracks me up that even then they are still not thought of as influencial, but known for trying hard to be. Maybe its an attitude, or intelligence that actually marks your spot in society.

why must you say you are glad you don't live here there is corruption in all towns and paragould is known for being a little chicago there is so much drug activity in greene county that its off the charts so don't put down our small town because there are others towns in worse shape

To those of you who are bashing Marmaduke-go away. I thought when someone didn't like where they lived THEY MOVED!! So get the hell out and leave it at that. There's no reason to talk about what a bad place it is if you don't live there. I lived there most of my life and I'm a PROUD graduate of MHS. As far as the "uppity" croud and the niches and the people with money...I don't remember anyone there who was "rich". Some may have had more than others but it's obviously because they worked hard to get it. It sounds to my like you're jealous of those who achieved something.
