It will be an interesting election. I think overall the village is moving in a positive direction. Just wonder if bridges have been burnt along the way.

I was impressed with the latest handout from Keller's party. Looks like we Are moving in the right direction.

What was that balance in 2008? Do you realize that a very large portion of the"debt" was sitting in the bank waiting to be paid out. it wasn't some new debt that we didn't have the money for. You do realize that right?

confused- from what I understand the money was there already there from the previous year but it wasn't spent until 09'. the audit only looks at the numbers from 09'(expenses and revenue)and doesn't carry over money from the previous year(s). So while the village spent 1.7 mil more then they brought in in 09' grant money from the previous year was used to pay those bills,or at least the vast majority of them.
all that being said I still think the village is slowly moving forward and in a positive direction (mainly from the hard working trustee's though)

The whole thing frustrating. Why do politician feel the need the try and always pull the wool over our eyes. If this info is correct then we have been swindled.

Is anyone else running for Clerk? Wasn't Bonnie with Keller's party before? & Ed's prior to that? Now she's with Mary's? Just seems like a lot of flip-flopping & wonder if anyone else is running for clerk?
